If Simmons has apparently been around Hotspur way today as being said and he's having to think about it and no news by now u know what the outcome is it would have been all done and sorted. When he walks around our training facilities he shouldn't need time to think really.

If they do go for Simons why wouldn't we go lopez instead. Same price, less wages than simons
Wouldn't comfortably the best passer in the team till maddison is back, and he's young as levy likes
 
My worry ref Simons is he knows nothing about the UK school system . Normally we could expect Daniel to get it over the line with an inspiring story about his A levels, but I think this story of courage and application may fall on deaf ears .

Then again do we want a player who does not appreciate a woodwork A Level

I think it’s entirely reasonable that he’s asked for the night to sleep on it and it’s entirely reasonable that we would have given him until tomorrow lunchtime to give an answer.

I suspect we have told him you either accept our offer whilst you are here in London, give your answer to us in the morning, do a medical tomorrow and sign.

If you go back to Germany however, then the deal is off and we are moving on to other targets.

I’m absolutely convinced this is what we have done and will be how it plays out. So we should hear by latest tomorrow lunchtime.

If we don’t hear anything by then, it’s off.
 
Last real news was 3 hours ago. It’s 9pm now surely not a lot of discussion happening that couldn’t have happened earlier in the day.

He’s clearly waiting for Chelsea. This is over. If we were signing him we’d have gotten this done by now, but he’s preferring to wait for them.

At the very least we need to be working on the next target in the exact same fashion we would if it were over with Simons.

The only leverage we're ever going to get and likely necessary regardless.
