Yep, there shouldn't be anyone that is not clear about this. He has agreed a deal with Chelsea like a month ago. They need to sell to get him because of UEFA penalty that means they need to have a positive net spend. They have gone for Garnacho first and may be looking for the Barcelona lad (Lopez) next.
We get him by two ways: Chelsea won't spend the money or Simons is so pissed off he rejects Chelsea and goes to us.
 
Looks like the Barcelona player Fermin that Chelsea are after as an alternative to Simons is staying at Barcelona. Which isn’t good news for us.

Fully expect Chelsea to come in for Simons now but at least we will know for sure if he’s coming to us tomorrow. We’ll know by close of business tomorrow

Inverthewing is a weird dude. Delusions of grandeur with him.

Doubt there’s any substance to his “intel”, but if it’s true then it’s not hard to understand that the 75% is Chelsea and 25% is Tottenham. If the various reports of a Spurs offer are accurate, he could agree terms with us right now and this would all be done. Since the deal is not finished, it’s clear that we’re not the 75 in his 75/25 scenario.
