He wasnt "good enough for city" hence they're trying to flog him. He's made numerous mistakes and his concentration levels are shite.
Ake on the other hand is very good when fit

Ake injury record is terrible, its the only reason they would be willing to sell himAke or akanji.
Unfortunately a compromise. Great experience, not sure which one I would prefer tbh.
Don't mind this tbh
In your opinion.
Ake is probably 10 times the player Akanji is. it's just his injury record and age that's the issue.Ake or akanji.

nooooooo! ake and akanji are shit, dont ruin the good work weve done under frank.
Gives me something to smile about on my 24 hour journey home.
3 hour transfer to Rio airport
3 hour wait in airport
12 hour flight to Heathrow
2 hour wait
4 hour national express to Cardiff
FML
Plenty of time to watch compilation clips!
Alright, alright, we get it!Nowhere near as long but flying from Rhodes later myself lol
Currently poolside reading the updates

Ake being left sided is probably more useful but would be happy with either. He plays RB from time to time as well (don’t love it, but at least he’s versatile and comfortable in a Back 2/3)
One thing to consider here. We're told time and time again that it can take months for these contracts to be put together and negotiated before a deal is struck. This 'seems' to have been done quickly but, based on the sums involved and the timescale of the deal, I'd say this has been worked on for a while, we've just done it quietly. I would suggest that we've worked on this probably alongside the deals we put together for MGW and Eze. It suggests to me that we actually DID have contingency in there for if/when another deal fell through or the player(s) chose elsewhere.I'll hold my hands up if this gets done
Although this kind of signing really should be the norm for a club of our standing and resources
But fair play , hammered Levy non stop and it looks like he's pulled one out of the bag
Always thought he was a good player since his Dortmund days. A bargain at that price as well and covers an important position
Daniel 'Money' Levy is on one today

Does this mean Hincapie could be off to City I wonder? This is why we wanted Hincapie but defensive options are less plentiful than midfield and it's why we're looking at Akanji now (let's hope we find someone else)
do you actually watch city games? hes a weak link for them along with akanji and that little rico lewis! football isn't for you if you dont see that! which guess what....is why they want 2 out of the 3 gone...strange that hey! lewis will be soon mark my words.
I'd prefer Ake because he can cover LB, too.
I also like the idea of having a Dutch legion in the squad.
