What really?

We've been desperate for weeks and just because one finally pulls through we all need to tug him off now?

This was a necessity, not an above and beyond requirement.

He knows that the majority of the fanbase aren't pleased with Levy, so when Levy does something good, it's an opportunity for him to troll the football supporters.

He also knows full well that the club hasn't signed an exciting attacking player since Son or Dele Alli in 2015 but he choses not to acknowledge that, it's all part of his forum troll-fest.

Almost guarantee of success the bloke who thought VDV to slow and cumbersome for the EPL...lol
he's just so thick

lol imagine calling me a troll when we've just signed an incredible player meaning that it's good for the club, do you support this club or what? :mourweird:

People need to stop saying Savinho. City are not stupid we beat them like a rented mule in their own house. They are not giving us another real weapon. We'll be lucky if we get Lookman. If we add another outside chance it's Lookman or Paqueta. The Rodgers stuff is incredibly remote. Personally I'd like something really inventive. Like bring back an older but still capable A lister from Saudi as cover. Think Llorente transfer.
Conversely, they could look on us as taking points off their other rivals if we had Savinho. They only have to play us once more. If Savinho goes some way to us taking points off Liverpool, Woolwich and Chelsea, they could potentially see that as a positive for them, along with the money of course.

End of the day, where would Savinho benefit City most, sitting on the bench for most of the season, or knocking points off other title challengers with us?

I very much doubt that anyone currently sees us as title challengers, considering where we finished last season, so that may come into their thinking.

You never know...

Account on X (yes I know pinch of salt and all that)

is saying

We are not done yet…We are now aggressively pursuing Morgan Rodgers alongside Savinho, albeit only one could be signed. I’m told that we are close to submitting an opening bid for Rodgers, with our Savinho offer remaining on the table and conversations ongoing.

I am not sure what all the buzz and joy about. I did not and do not see anything special about this guy. Just another body to add to the team sheet.

We sign a name that was 10th on our target list and all of a sudden the fans go all joy as if we signed MGW or Paz.

DL knows how to play this fan group for sure.

Do you seriously think that Levy signed off on this deal in order to look good before a load of people online with made-up names?

Is that how clubs worth billions of pounds operate?
