Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's not just about where he has played, it's how he fits into our squad and Frank's options.

He has to be central simply because we have nobody else who can play central who is creative otherwise, and we need someone there.

I think playing him out on the left wouldn't be the best way to use him at Spurs, and the fact we tried to get Savinho means the club must have been planning to use Simons centrally.

Maybe when Kulu comes back, Simons might move left, but Simons is a far better 10 than Kulu is.

A big problem with us at the moment, is a lack of passing and creativity centrally.
I don’t disagree. But ultimately I think once everyone is fit we will see some fluidity in that front line with players interchanging anyway, like we did with prime DESK.

Reckon we've been trying to get a perm move all summer and are only now saying he can go on loan with an option and suddenly there's interest.
Well Levy certainly hasn't!

Just the thought of him with a perm amuses me!

Well that's what you get for fucking us around with Eze yer Sarf Lundun mugs!

Yeah for sure. Richarlison could put his stinker behind him and keep his place and Muani might shine out on the left, or vice versa. As you say, options which is great.

We don't have time to bring Tel through and Johnson is useless unless he taps one in and still useless if he does nothing but tap one in and we still get beat, with him contributing to that loss because he does absolutely nothing else but tap one in, to help the team.

Why do people think we're in the position to be developing players this season???

We're in the CL.

We get injuries and have to rotate with circa 60 games ahead.

We need ready-made, ready-to-go in this window for positions that are underperforming.
So, when will Spurs have time to develop players then?
And if teams like Barca, Liverpool, Woolwich, Man City can develop player, then why can't Spurs do it?
Spurs fans complain that youth is not given a chance to develop at Spurs but when Spurs make effort to develop some Spurs fans also complain.
Sarr and Spence were written off by many Spurs fans, and yet both are key players for Spurs now.
