So chavs spent 325m and got back 315m. Crazy.

They should have made it even more cold.

"Newcastle can announce the sale of a striker for a British record transfer fee to Liverpool."

Or

"Newcastle can announce the sale of a striker for a British record transfer fee to Liverpool.

It's not Andy Carroll this time."
"A man has been released from St James' Park after petulantly ransoming himself. Money was exchanged."

I still got the sense that NC dicked Isak first, but regardless what I do find notable is the hypocrisy abound over players downing tools (but being too money hungry to submit a formal trf request).........

Isak: Roundly criticised for his conduct.
Guehi (according to multiple pundits): "It's a short career.... He should have done whatever necessary to get his move."

Also:

Newcastle pissed at Isak.
Newcastle seemingly no problem if the shoe's on the other foot and it's a player they want to sign (i.e. Wissa).

Newcastle have looked decent this season and have bought 2 good forwards - the German could be sensational if he’s continues his form
Really, a 0-0 against 10 man Villa, a very good yet ultimately futile loss to Liverpool and then an absolute bore draw against a Leeds side that will be bottom 5 at the end of the season.

Im not convinced. I think they’ve been ripped off this summer big time, paid an eye watering amount for Woltemade - blokes had 1 good season. Then got ripped off further for Wissa - decent player but £55m is mental for a 29 year old striker
