Exactly. No point sticking with levy & his model where finshing 20 points or so behind Woolwich is the norm now. A league cup & europa cup every 24 years is best you can hope for. No hope of winning the big trophies even when the competition are quite weak.
I was really disappointed with the summer window. I said our main goal should be big upgrades on the starting 11. Players who are 8-9 out of 10.
Instead we got more quite good 7-8 out of 10 players who aren’t significantly better than what we have. We need to improve our staring 11 a lot to compete with the best.
Being fair on frank, if he got us 6th this season then that’s good going. But we should be aiming higher especially when the competition is weak bar Liverpool & Woolwich. But even those 2 aren’t exactly amazing with little flaws.
If only enic can sell up now & we get ambitious owners who are determined to have success on the pitch rather than just in profits!
Also levy pissed off so many other chairman so he was a liability in the end. His transfer policy was really out dated & he has been here far too long. It’s gone so stale. No hope with him at the helm unless you want more concerts & stadium attractions!
I read levy left with over 50m ! So he has got a lot out of the club for such little success on the pitch. Jammer bugger! What a waste of ££ we will never see again. If his job was judged on success on the pitch he would have been fired ages ago!
