Well yes absolutely.
Incredible. Had to check when I saw it that it wasn’t a fake page that was posting it or that the official site wasn’t hacked.
Ultimately, the work he did in terms of infrastructure etc has to be applauded and acknowledged, however, for me personally, I will never ever look back on him in any way fondly.
Particularly in the last decade, his reign has just been littered with ineptitude, mistakes, incompetence and at times just blatant disregard for the people that are the real backbone of the club - the fans.
What I will say though, is I have always been very slow to criticize Levy individually for the failings of the hierarchy of the club. He is just a cog in the ENIC wheel and he was running the football club with a remit.
He’s a large part of the cancer removed, but ENIC are still in control, and I really do feel we won’t reach our potential as a football club until they are completely gone.
What I would also say to the morons that perpetually mock the fan protests and the chanting at matches, I think the argument that they mean nothing is well and truly put to bed with this announcement.
There is absolutely zero doubt in my mind the protests last season helped to bring this about, and for that we should be extremely thankful.
This is undoubtedly a very good day for Tottenham Hotspur, but the job isn’t done.
