I really hope we don’t get new owners.

A: if new owners pay say 3 billion for the club, chances are they will use us/our money to pay back the debt. Kind of like what the glazers did but perhaps not as out in the open.

B: ENIC do not deserve to profit off of us and sell up after 25 years and putting in fuck all real money . I have read as little as 200 million of their own money over 25 years. ( I could be wrong on that figure but you get my jist)
I think your point B is massively underselling their stewardship of the club. They may not have put in vasts amounts of their own money, but if it’s one thing Levy was good at it was growing the club at a commercial level. We’ve all made fun of it at different times, but we really are a self sufficient club.

It’s mad. So called true football fans want a chairman’ who would have had us in the super league if he had his way.

Can only imagine the outrage from some quarters if the Super League had actually taken off and Spurs were left in the dust.

None of us wanted the Super League, most of us think the very idea is an abomination. But you can't claim out of one side of your mouth that you want owners who will act with the utmost ambition for the success of the football club and then slam Levy for keeping a Super League seat warm for Spurs out of the other side of your mouth.

Yes , sorry I agree with you in that point , I don’t want to discredit that at all, I was trying to say we don’t deserve as fans for them to have increased the wealth of our backs and cash in and then leave the new owners to say they have no money to invest in the club because they paid so much to buy it. ENIC should not sell.

Yea that’s the potential monkeys paw with a sale isn’t it. You get new owners in, who potentially pull a glazers and load the club with a bunch of debt.

Daniel Levy: Tottenham executive chairman exits role after 24 years in charge

If anyone still seriously believes last seasons protests didn't impact the decision to remove Daniel Levy then they're living in a world of self delusion and pure fantasy 😂

WELL DONE CHANGE FOR TOTTENHAM!!!

And shame on those who mocked and derided them

you got me wrong. I would want us to win the EPL & stay out the super league. I would see winning the EPL as success where as you wouldn’t.
Also this is about levy. He wanted us to leave this league & be in the super league. That’s disgraceful to me & football. Maybe it’s the kind of chairman you celebrate & adore, but not me! Not my type of chairman at all.
I think we value things very differently so clearly won’t see eye to eye.

...with respect, it could equally be claimed that those protests had no impact whatsoever and anyone who thinks they did is living in a world of self delusion and fantasy, couldn't it?

I saw the largest of last year's protests and, to be honest, I'm not convinced they will have affected Levy in the slightest. Let's ask him, shall we? Daniel, did those protests influence you?...

No they didn't :levysad:

They were protesting when we were doing shit.

It was us doing shit that drove this.

They are a by-product of that and did nothing to change anything.

Just for clarity...

Today has shown this mob to be an absolute two-bob grift.

Their statement was embarrassing to the extent I reckon you wrote it.

I'm ashamed they bare the name Tottenham.

Seems it wasn't Levy's decision to make :)
