Support isn't going to magically make him a footballer. He's devoid of talent, which is the problem.
It's not his fault he was signed, but Jesus Christ, he's absolutely shite.
I’m not giving up on him yet , he is still really young in a foreign country playing in the hardest league in the world.Tel is not devoid of talent. You couldn't be further from the truth. He has the right attitude, but his confidence has been dented.
The step up to PL is difficult, but he has had even Johnson start LW in front of him, then Savinho links too. He moved to get playing time and so far it has not worked out.
Let's not forget Bergvall was shakey at the beginning. Tel is perhaps a bit in front of where Bergvall was before coming here, but players all acclimate at different rates. Bergvall benefited by being thrown in at the deep end, but he did have midfielders and defense all around him. Tel is a bit lonely on the wing or up top so it's harder to make the impact Bergvall did. Bergvall saw more ball, made more mistakes but has learned quicker as he saw more ball and had more minutes.
Tel I have faith he will come good, he is tough, but needs a bit more time to make his mark.
No offence, but I’m going to guess you haven’t been a Spurs fan for long.

If Frank trusts him to start then there is a player there!
Nah, fuck em. I remember how they all celebrated when they got the Olympic like they had snagged a gem. Added London to their crest and everything. There were some die hards against it, but most of them thought those aluminium bleachers held together with plastic zipties were their ticket to the CL. Fucking morons. It’s a shame, as much as I dislike the club they are a proper club if that makes sense

Looking ahead, we could go unbeaten for the rest of September.

Touched a nerve did it?Thankfully, you're not Admin.
Surely people have the right to post as an when they want. Not when you see fit.
Maybe some posters feel the need to vent on here when we lose and prefer to celebrate away from the forum when we win?
That's their perogative, not yours nor anyone else's![]()

I’m pretty sure our bid for the London stadium was purely to make Haringay council agree to throw in some upgrades on council infrastructure. My recollection is that Haringay Council wanted a free ride whilst THFC wanted them to throw some money at it. This delayed the stadium build for a couple of years. Miraculously after we bid for London Stadium and “considered” moving to Wembley permanently Haringay council relented.Nah, fuck em. Some of my old man’s family were West Ham, in fact his brothers daughters, my cousins are. My Uncle also had a barbers in Green Street in the 50’s, 60’s. Most of my dads family including my somewhat notorious grandfather are buried in the Jewish cemetery at Marlow Road, East Ham…It’s a shame, as much as I dislike the club they are a proper club if that makes sense
He tried to move to Stratford! Possibly a negotiation tactic but I’m not so sure!If I was unlucky enough to be born a West Ham fan , Going from Upton Park to that hell hole would actually make me quit the game for good , as much as I weren’t keen on levy, he got the stadium spot on
That's a bold clamTouched a nerve did it?
Bill's one of the best oysters on here. Basically the diametric opposite to you.
Levy definitely used Stratford as a threat and a negotiating tactic against Haringay. IF we had gone there, there is no way on this planet that we would have gone there as tenants, we would have had to have bought it….I’m pretty sure our bid for the London stadium was purely to make Haringay council agree to throw in some upgrades on council infrastructure. I’m not going to cite any articles but that’s my recollection. Could be wrong - G&T screws with your memory.
Wasn't our offer to knock the olympic stadium down and build a football stadium, plus another stadium purpose designed for athletics somewhere else?Levy definitely used Stratford as a threat and a negotiating tactic against Haringay. We missed him so much against Bournemouth.
Can't believe he's already made 50 appearances for us, what a great way to celebrate.
He's such an important player.
