Agreed.

I think most of the criticism of him is fair, the leaky defence, poor game management etc...*

But I just dont understand the vitriol, and the glee with which people are watching him lose with.

And I say that as someone who doesnt particularly like him as a character either.

*Had an odd £1 sitting in the betting app last night, when swansea went 1-2 I stuck it on them to win. £20 won. It was just obvious it was going to happen...

Paying to go and watch that shit every week was the reason for me. Lost 10 out of 19 home games with 6 wins. No excuse for that when we are paying thousands for our season tickets. The admission that we didnt try (which I dont believe) from February onwards was a complete kick in the teeth for people who pay lots of money to go to games and who spend money in the stadium. He actually hated the fans so it didnt surprise me.

I don’t hate Ange, but I don’t like Forest. Additionally, it’s fun to watch another club suffer all the same problems we saw under the man, hopefully without the second season trophy.

It’s affirming seeing this happen to another club under him and supports exactly the arguments those who wanted him out last year were making - can’t defend set pieces, suicidal high line, runs players into the ground, weird subs. It’s not Spursy, it’s Angey.

But he won the Europa and I will forever be grateful - it was the one time he varied his tactics, starting from the QF second leg and got us over the line and defended the club in the media.

Because he’s an actual bellend. I don’t get why people don’t get this. The guy is an arse. He cupped his fucking ears to our fans.

One of the most egotistical wankers out there, he wanted to make that EL win all about him as well and some fans have allowed this.

Genuinely just not a nice bloke, switched up so fast when things turned. I revel in him being exposed all over again.
Mourinho is a cunt and gets less. Conte was a cunt but gets less. I actually don’t hate any of them. The pressure got to Ange and never dealt with it right but I don’t hate the guy in any way. Each to their own mate. 😜

Start it at 36:03 for the Ange stuff, Wolfie’s having a tough time 😂

Jose was sacked less than a week before a cup final - I don’t know why anyone would have any ill feeling towards him, he didn’t do much wrong.

Yeah that was one of the more disgusting decisions Levy made. We weren't playing well up to that point, admittedly, but we definitely had more of a chance of scraping a win in that final with Jose than Mason...

Weird, weird decision that was.

To be fair that was Nunos tactics in every game last year

That said, it was tailor made to beat an Ange side
Yeah his own tactics were limited and they'd have been found out this year where teams just figure them out.

But yeah, any team that were competent at defending in a low block and had decent counter attacking players were a nightmare for Ange. Ange's teams would end up taking nearly all the risks for little reward. If we played through the lines perfectly then we'd probably be looking at a 5v4 in a congested space. If the opposition turn us over in possession then they could have a 3v2 situation in oceans of space! It was the story of our season

The football was dreadful. If the club wanted to sack him they should have sacked him months earlier when the league was still recoverable. Jose is a cup specialist so yes their timing was odd to say the least, maybe compensation related.

I remember how I felt at that time and I was worried that, with how the games were actually going, we'd end up on the record books with an embarrasing final scoreline. We'd not long lost 3-0 to City with that still being flattering to us.

We were playing some awful teams and the 11 on the pitch looked terrified. The game before, Everton had 18 shots on goal at us. Not a good version of Everton either.

Regardless of all that, the club are/were very private so we'll never really know the detail of why managers went, but I'm not 100% convinced it was about performances. Jose has been ruthlessly sacked from pretty much every job since he left Madrid, so I can imagine it being some other factors

Simon Jordan said that the players got fed up with him and didn't want to play for him anymore, it was a player led revolt to Levy...certainly more plausible than compensation.
