Yet another Poch knob sucker, who is belittling our first European trophy in over 40 years.A football club competes to be the best. That doesn't come down to any one honor, but to how we rank ourselves against others who'd be in consideration at the top of the world, all things considered. When were we closest to the top of the world?
And which club is better? The one that was runner up in the CL? The one that finished 2nd in the best league in the world? Or the one that finished 17th and won an honor in a second tier competition that's expressly created for those who aren't good enough to be invited to the first?
I don't know which of the three clubs was best and was closest to reaching the summit, but I know the third is miles behind the first two. Getting very near to the summit of Everest is more prestigious than getting there on Kilimanjaro.
I know many won't agree but if the goal is to be the best, there are no questions on this.
Off to my ignore list you fuck.
