Match Spurs v Brighton (Away) - Sat 20th September - KO: 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

New training vid has a section where they're doing a focused session with Udogie on his crossing from the left. A weakness in his game for sure, good to see.

hopefully decent minutes against Doncaster.

Doncaster is a funny one. We see it all the time when PL teams make wholesale changes vs lower league teams and the players have no rhythm and chemistry together.

TBH we saw it the entire second half of Ange’s last PL season

I’d prefer 3, max 4 changes in both Brighton and Doncaster tbh

I don’t get the idea that players like Odobert, Gray and Udogie aren’t good enough to play against Brighton. They all are.

I'd really like us to at least use that game to put Xavi at 10 and Camembert on the left.

Brighton will huff and puff and cause us some problems. We’ll take a while to get properly set. Maybe even concede. But I expect our superiority to prevail quite emphatically.

1-4

:frankthumbs:

Away to Brighton is no gimme, these days. A draw would be a very reasonable reult. Even a loss wouldn't be a disaster as long as the performance isn't as bad as it was against Bournemouth.

Brentford drew nil nil there last season (and beat them 4 2 at home FWIW) so I could see similar tomorrow. Cant see it being high scoring. I'm still pissed off about the game last year, so hopefully we are a bit more sensible this time out. Havent had a good performance there since Kane kicked that coke bottle after scoring.
