BJ ON THE LEFT 🚨
Play Wilson on the left otherwise he may as well go on loan. Johnson can play v Donny although he’s the type of player who would struggle lower league. Don’t want repeat of Tamworth.

Don’t expect Frank to expand to a more attacking formation for this game.

Assume he’ll set up for a counter. Kudus looked a little leggy vs Villarreal. Might be time for a rest.

Maybe Simons-RKM-Johnson up front ? Rotate Spence in at RB and Udogie at LB

Think Frank would go with this.
[LINEUP]Vicario
Porro Romero VDV Spence
Sarr Bentancur Bergvall
Kudus Richarlison Simons[/LINEUP]

I would go with this.

You said teams with top 4 aspirations win at the Amex. City never. City have top 4 aspirations and also to win the league.
I'm sure there are several teams that have aspirations of finishing in the top 4. By nature only 4 can and I would suggest City won't be one of them. They've lost twice already and tough game Saturday. Too many are blinded by their past success. This is not the City of old.

I get the consensus that a draw would be a good result here as the bookmakers all have us underdogs.

But 1 point for a draw isn't going to change our season. Yes, its better than zero but I'd gamble to try and get the 3 points. I assume we'll go there to keep it tight like other games, but if it is level coming towards the end, then i hope we are the ones really pushing for the winner. I don't think we should ever play for draws. Away from home it makes sense to keep it tight and shush the crowd in the first half but the plan should always be to grow into the game and push for the win.

Wonder if he'll try a back 5 again for this one, he won't want a repeat of bournmouth.

However last year by just having a go at them ange was 2-0 up at half time and we had completely outplayed them , he just didn't have the nous to keep it compact for the second and pick them off on counters as they tried to recover

I suspect he'll stick with a back 4 but freshen it up

Think he may try gray to bring some fresh pressing and energy

I like your 11, but I would be tempted to swap Bentancur for Bergvall.
Didn't think Bentancur was at all at the races on Tuesday.

Think this will be a similar game to Bournemouth where they wil press man for man on us , let’s see what Frank has learnt from that game .
Hopefully the biggest lesson is not to go long from goal kicks but leave the 2 CB's in our own box.
That was a glaring problem for me for the entirety of the Bournemouth match. I get why we tried it, but it didn't work, so we should have abandoned it.

I still think they’ll be challenging but I do agree with you. Liverpool obvious favourites but they might have some unhappy players. Salah might be a problem for them as he’s been covering cracks for a while now with goals but his overall performances have been terrible. My mate is a season ticket holder and can’t stand him!! Sounds like Salah is entering Sonny type form which we saw the last two years.
Woolwich look strong but they can’t bore their way to a title. I would say there is an opportunity for a dark horse normally but Newcastle and Villa are weaker and we are not there yet. There’s nobody else remotely close to getting close so I think top 4 must be our aim.

As you said previously going to places like Brighton shows you have the credentials to be in that top 4.
Tomorrow will tell us a lot
