BJ ON THE LEFT 🚨

The reality is that as long as Kudus is fit, Johnson isn't getting a start on the right.

I thought he'd be able to adapt on the left but has looked pretty shit so far. We can't start him. Not until he starts putting in good performances from the bench and if he's unable to turn it around he'll be gone next season. Maybe even in January considering we've got a new leadership team who will probably want to make a statement.

Their team looks ass.

Vic
Porro - Romero - Danso - Udogie
Palhinha
Bentancur - Xavi
Kudus - Tel - Odobert
Protect VDV's hamstrings. Porro or Spence to be rested with Udogie coming in.

Sarr and Bergvall can do with a rest.
Palhinha/Bentancur partnership to return but Xavi moved central to effect the game more.

We can't rotate Kudus yet until Muani and Solanke are back.
Give Tel another run out and anyone but Johnson at LW. Don't think Odobert has started there yet this season so he should get a go.
Another 30 mins in the legs for Muani too.

It really doesn't.

I always feel Brighton are a team you get lots of chances against as they are quite open but they are a good side who always cause you problems at the other end. I’m quietly confident about this and would love to see Xavi more central,Odobett start on the left and Muani start up top.
I want to see us flow more and create more chances and play at a quicker tempo. If we do that I think we run out comfortable 2-0 winners.

This won’t happen but:

I’d wanna see Danso, Udogie, Bentancur Johnson, Muani off the bench.

Maybe take Porro off, try Spence back on the right if things are going well. Same with VDV for Danso. If we’re in trouble and losing the midfield battle, get Sarr on for Odobert.

And personally for me I’d have strict standards for Richy, if he’s shit in the first half hook him at HT. He’s made my fake lineup out of respect for his start to the season as opposed to how he’s playing currently.

Yeah I don’t think it will be far off that but I think he will play Richy, Johnson on the right and keep Simons on the left.

TF has said before that he looks at games in blocks of three. He rested bentancur and Richy v West Ham and palhinha on Tuesday. So I think those three will play. Although if Milner looks to be starting he might stick some more youthful legs in there and then sub on. I’m not sure I’d rest bergval at all.

Heavy rotation in the league cup next week I suspect due to what should be an easier fixture allowing this (although as it’s thfc we know those don’t really exist).

Won’t be easy and we could easily slip up , however more positives than negatives under Frank . If he is the coach we hope he is he will have learnt from Bournemouth. I’m not worried about the quality of the football right now , just keep grinding . Would not want us to be quite so toothless going forward second half of the season though .

At the moment I think Frank is sorting us out defensively first , I think that is what most good coaches do . Make us hard to beat before looking to be more expansive, all whilst bedding in new signings

COYS , 2-1 win

Fucking hell, I hope he's not looking too closely at November then!!
The month of death!

Yep, last year was a massive red flag. 2.0 up and coasting.
2nd half, keep the ball, defend, kill the game for 15 minutes. Nope, gung ho attack and bingo bango 2.3.
Their first was right at the start of the second half. First minute? Fuckign amateurish to send the team out and that happens.
It’s the team, the captain and the manager. But the manager sets the tone for everything so ultimately on him. When that goal went in I knew that we’d end up losing. Never even close to getting a result from that point.

It was this fixture last season that exposed Ange for not being at the required level .

I’m still not sure what style we are trying to play.
I think this game will another little bump in the road
2-1 loss

Hot garbage.

No offence.

It's obvious to literally anyone with even one brain cell that we've been building the defensive structure first and foremost and will then look to get that attacking game plan improved.

If you could kindly refrain from expressing any of your views on here again, I would largely welcome such an arrangement.
