Regardless, the ref has been crap and we have been soft. Bergvall should have put the ball out when Richy stayed down, it was still avoidable.
Retaining possession as it progresses up the pitch has been a worry so far this season.

The 1st goal conceded was very Ange-esque
Makes me laugh that his touch has been awful for a few games now but he randomly controls that shot fizzed into him with relative ease for the goal. Just keeping us guessing
One hopes that is Frank's message right now.

Romero especially needs to be aware because he doesn't have VDV's recovery pace.

Think we’ve been the better team in many ways. Just been sucker punched. Awful goalkeeping as well. Was he trying to make it more spectacular instead of just getting behind it. New keeper should be a high priority. Richarlison is painful to watch sometimes. Kudos incapable of releasing it quickly as well.
Been more about Udogie playing well, imo.
Vicario, richarlisons and odobert all been poor.
Really don't like vicario. Doesn't give his defenders any confidence. Bring on Simons and probably tell a bit later on. Still something in this game for us, I don't think we've played badly at all.

Yeah - it's not been perfect but defo encouraging how massively we've switched gears. Our entire approach has been different from any other game this season. Felt like Frank wanted to prove a point and Brighton wouldn't expect it.
Not working out so far but some promising signs and we've got in bloody good crossing positions - just not quite got the final ball + runs into the box right. Udogie been absolute quality too.
Overall think the scoreline doesn't reflect the performance. In some other games we've got a bit lucky, this time the luck is going Brighton's way. Think it's weirdly been one of our better halves in all-round play despite the scoreline.
