If you believe the players should be satisfied with the way they performed today then I wouldn’t want you for managerFucking do one. You never watched the game and come out with that shit. Clown
We did!!!Playing Brighton away is never easy. Brighton got off to a shock start, but I think we fought back well.
Absolutely. I said it in the Odobert thread, I don't see it with him (I think Tel is the better player with a much higher potential), but even then he's miles better than Johnson on that LW. Johnson is just a hopeless case.Odobert wasn’t great, but he at least offered an outlet and linked up with the players around him. When Johnson came on it was noticeable how much less space the others had down the left.
Xavi absolutely must play at 10 against Wolves next Saturday night.
Surely Frank starts him at 10, he'll absolutely run the show.
You never saw the game. We were the best team by far. Liverpool lost there. City lost there. It’s a good point and the only thing they should be disappointed in was not going for the winner more when it went 2-2.If you believe the players should be satisfied with the way they performed today then I wouldn’t want you for manager
It’s true, but we’ve a new regime and new faces on the pitch, we should do better than putting ourselves in a massive hole even if we know we’ll get their bestI think people here are forgetting that the Amex isn't an easy place to go, they only lost 3 games there all last season.
I've seen lots of wild takes on here but I don't think I've ever seen anyone claim we're in a title challenge
His last two clubs didn't win a game for first 8. We are building a platform and will improve imo. After going two down you'd have to think that getting a draw is a great outcome. I'm not sure why I feel a bit deflated. Our goals were scrappy and we seemed to stop playing once the second one went in.
I think, perhaps, that Frank's default setting is very conservative play. That would make us hard to beat but, I fear, may mean we would not have the ambition that this club should have. It's early days and I hope to be proven wrong.
I'll confess to being concerned though.
IMHO they’ll sell to anyone but us!I’m guessing if he doesn’t play much for city then the deal can be done ?
Absolutely not on the second. Feet weren’t set.comfortable height. Go with two hands. I’d be disappointed if I has let that in, relatively routineBoth teams played well. So many positive plays you can point to for Spurs. This one has to give them confidence. I think people will be tougher on Viccario than he deserves. First goal was him being put in a bad position and on the second you just have to tip your hate to the goal scorer. That was a really well hit ball that was spinning away. I really like this squad already and they will just get better.
World cup coming up.I’m guessing if he doesn’t play much for city then the deal can be done ?
100%I agree with that. You see the difference when Johnson came on? Udogie had zero effect on the game going forward. I thought first 70 mins he was excellent going forward and defensively excellent all game.
If this summer is now the blueprint going forward we are moving in the right direction signing wise.I think in defence another FB & a better GK, in midfield some more nous in both directions from 1 maybe 2 new signings, a quality LW and CF and this team could actually challenge for important things but this is the legacy of poor squad investment imo.
