Match Spurs v Brighton (Away) - Sat 20th September - KO: 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Our attacking intention was absolutely fantastic, today.

To come back in that game is brilliant.

I'm super happy.

Bodes very, very well for us.

We have to take the rough with the smooth especially with a young, new team playing under a new manager and system.

New players to bed in, all from a different culture, and background.

Excellent response today, and if you need proof look at our result there last season.

Abject capitulation.

Good result!

COYS!

I think that's a decent point.

We usually struggle against Brighton for some reason, and from what I've heard we played well and both their goals came against the run of play. Excellent fight back.

I'll take that all day long, that is the kind of point that could earn us top 4. Don't underestimate it.

haha you are a proper drip aint ya, only time ive ever seen your name is when you want me attention you fucking weird creep
Well the only time I see your name is when you are showing your total lack
Of understanding of football and being a total cunt to every spurs player there is.

You’re no supporter of this club, you never go to games, nothing, you just slag off everyone and everything spurs related.

Just fuck off you clueless mug.

Take mehstg with you

Today, I think there was more balance between left and right wings, and a greater rapidity in moving the ball from one side to the other, with a small number of nice switches. Our play in the final third was the best so far under Frank, though the final ball on both sides could do with improvement. I guess that will come as players rehearse the combinations.

Odobert was part of the improved left-sided play, as was Richie. I thought, for his first start under Frank, Odobert was pretty handy. A lot of promise.

Richie didn't play badly, but he fluffs it too often. Frustrating.

With Richy I really get the feeling it's a confidence thing when he wears a Spurs shirt, not surprising as he's spent most of his time here under managers who didn't get him.

It’s not just about doing spectacular things, Odobert is more comfortable on the ball, more pressure resistant when playing out or trying to play through, we stopped being able to play down that side when Johnson came on.
Spot on. Tbf though I felt Odobert had some moments 1v1, not enough but like you said, he can take the ball and move it to a teammate in space ahead of him fairly reliably, something that's completely absent in Johnson's game along with many other deficiencies.

Decent enough performance for me, a few tired legs after Tuesday but we kept our heads and kept pushing for the equalizer. Hope to see Solanke back soon to replace Richarlison as he will hold the ball up better, Richy lost the ball far to many times for me. Doesn't have the best first touch for a number 9!

I caught the last twenty odd minutes. We looked pretty good. It wouldn’t have been unfair if we had won it.

For me we’ve had the Ange/Levy enema and it’ll take some time before things settle into a certain direction. I won’t be too distressed about anything but Ange-level relegation form before the winter window.

My expectations are to remain in the top half all year, even though I believe we have players who can do more we also have glaring needs and as we’ve seen, smaller clubs can still get at us.

Improvement month by month ought to be the measuring stick and the climate is a lot more fair than it was 6 months back for example
I get what your saying. I'd be more ambitious than that tbh, I'd be dissapointed and underwhelmed if we don't finish top 6. With the way United and Villa have started, we should be a top 6 team.
