Uefa rule change offers lifeline​

The new ruling allows teams to temporarily swap out an injured player for one not previously included in their 25-man squad for UEFA fixtures.

If a player is ruled out by long-term injury and will not feature by matchday six he can be replaced in the squad.

I know it's not a maximum, I didn't realise we had more than 4 in the squad this season though to force any of our association trained onto the list of 17.

there isn’t a list of 17. You don’t really understand. To get a full squad you need 4 x CT. If not these places go unfilled as we know to our cost. Of the other 21 places a max of 17 can be non HG. The other 4 must be HG assoc trained but we can have 21 assoc trained if we’ve got the players. If we’ve got more than 4 CT they can be in that as well. Max 25 players excluding under 21.

its bodo, just cos its a CL game doesnt change the fact its a team that wouldn't even survive in the prem. we will have more of the ball than them.

a big team would go there and bully them, not treat them like a side to be worried about.

Posters on here knew Solanke would need surgery,minor or not, abd uou just know it will be a bigger issue than presumed.

Useless signing and absurdly stupid medical team.
