I get where he is coming from , even in the German league you have teams with mostly German nationals , I also think this is one of the reasons why as a national team we have struggled recently - however when you are one of the richest leagues in the world you are going to attract the worlds best players …..
I liked it under Poch when we had some many English Internationals in the side ,

Huh...are you mad mate. We "Struggled most intensely when every singel person in our league was English or Scots. And technically we are having our longest period of sustained success as an international team EVER other than that tournament we fixed on home soil.

I know its fashionable to blame everything including the weather and errectile disfunction on Johnny Foriegner....but this makes zero sense. There was a 442 chart that actually showed how we incrementally improved as we got more coaches and players from oversees along side our kids

Going off topic but what have we won as a national team?
no biggie any way I just used to like Spurs having an English Spine , I used to look at clubs like Chelsea who would have 1 or 2 English players and be happy we had the likes of Kane , Dier , Rose , Walker and dele etc , bloody foreigners coming over and taking all our jobs! :wansum:

Im not against this at all. Loved Rose Walker Dele Harry. But the idea we are a poorer national side because oversees players doesn't stand up is all. We are better because KDB Vertonghen Dembele Modric Eriksen. And his weird Foriegner in the stands remark was just bloody odd and set me off. I mean no offence there's a reason folk are not coming from near and far to nick his Bodo tickets. I desperately want Williams-Barnett and few others to have first team careers.

Think there is a general concerted effort amongst the big sports broadcasters to tackle illegal streaming as somewhat more affordable options to watch sports become available, think it's only a matter of time before package TV broadcast deals make way for streaming deals, at this point I think it might be by far the most profitable option for all concerned to have a Premier League streaming service with every game available on demand for a fixed, affordable monthly fee, no paying Sky 40 quid a fucking month to have other sports I have zero interest in packaged in.

Netflix has 300 million paying members, they're one of a number of streaming services all offering largely the same thing, none of these services have really smashed it any time recently with their unique content. I would be more than happy to pay £20-25 a month to watch any premier league game I feel like to my heart's content, I have zero doubts there are tens or even hundreds of millions of others worldwide who would gladly do the same.
