Match Spurs v Bodo/Glimt (A) - Champions League - Tues 30th Sept - KO: 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That is utterly incredible that we have so little quality for a club the size of ours.
RKM, Kulu, Solanke and Madds out, rotation needed, it's not that deep.

Frank really sees Bergvall as the creativity in the 10.

I see a player who could be so much more useful playing deeper and more involved all the time.

Hope I’m wrong
I can go either way on him right now, he clearly has the vision to make things happen in the box and the physicality to survive in the mixer with the oppo 6 and 2 CBs, and watching him vs Villarreal he was our only player that really felt threatening for the opposition when making runs on the ball or runs into the box in response to eg Simons cutting in or Kudus looking for a passing option, I can see why Frank might feel him wasted in the deeper role considering how much he has seem him unsettle defences in a more advanced role. However I do feel it is for the best of the team he ends up at 8, his relentless running, smart passing and desperate eagerness to show for the ball and help teammates, as well as his ability to escape difficult ground duels with the ball at feet, are qualities we desperately need behind a really incisive number 10 IMO.

The positive for me is that I don’t feel like Romero can’t afford a night off. You just know Danso can be trusted. Both full backs should be fresh as well.

Don't mind the team, sensible rotation.

The number one thing I'm looking at is Leeds on Saturday and that he starts Xavi in the ten position.

Palhinha, one of Sarr or Bergvall and Xavi. Probably Sarr because Bergvall has played more recently.

That has to be the midfield.

I hope to God that is his thought process.

On the plus side he's dropped Palhinha but 6 defense minded players against Bodo... jesus christ WTF..

Screams Bodo ? Tottenham 0... but there is always hope. These players might click and we win comfortably which in fairness we should do. If Ange and his zero tactics can batter this lot, surely Frank and his genius tactics can...

Can't see no positives until we win this. Not very confident with that line up. We played a lot stronger and more defensive setup against bottom of the table in the weekend to scrap a 1x1 draw. Don't think Frank rotated very well the squad until I'm proved wrong.

For me this should be harder than Wolves at home. And given Porro on the right I expect him to attack Johnsons flank all the game while Johnson goes more central.
