Match Spurs v Bodo/Glimt (A) - Champions League - Tues 30th Sept - KO: 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I couldn’t see the game and no highlights but I did hear that they were watering a plastic pitch??
You should have seen the “bounce”. Times it looked like it would run out of play only for it to picking up spin and a change of direction somewhere.

That said, the second goal we conceded is the type you would see in Sunday league - shit keeper clearance, Spence doing fuck knows what in a dangerous area and Porro planted like a tree root

There was one point where I saw one of their players kick the ball and water shot up in the air. I was surprised tbh, but hadn't thought that maybe that was hindering our passing weight. There were a few passes our players made that were absolute larrupped, so wondering if they never quite found the sweet spot.

sure - you know that because you're on the inside and know all these people personally, right?

Touched a nerve did it?

Bill's one of the best posters on here. Basically the diametric opposite to you.

Pretty much sums up your footballing acumen

You'll be one of them then princess

Grow up you wannabe gangster

Hopefully Frank will learn from this, he should have gone out with his best side, and not underestimated the opponents. Had we gone after the jugular from the start we would probably have won it.
Maybe the people who laughed at me because of the wannabe gangsters infantile post should take a look at themselves, and maybe see a chiropractor - and get your spines straightened out.

Not as depressing as your "support" of THFC

These are your latest 'contributions' to this site. All directed at different people...I mean there were far more but I got bored.

Yes. The players and the ball were kicking up water as they moved and at times the ball looked like it could stick rather than roll; I was expecting a masterclass fuck up from Vicario or one of our defenders waiting for it to reach them, something that the Bodos (or maybe the Glimts) would be used to and were probably hoping for.

Even worse than the man-made swamp was that some of the edges of the pitch appeared to be kicking up like a cheap rug. Spence lost control on one of those at one point and the commentator mentioned it. There was the potential for a nasty injury if a player tripped over one of those. Luckily we seem to have got away from there without any more injuries.

In the end I think an injury-free away CL draw was OK. Liverpool would have gladly taken one of those yesterday.

"Must learn from this " has been a fairly frequent line the last couple of seasons with just a name change here and there ,I really wish we would learn and stop this seemingly never ending cycle of poor performances .

Mick Cooper Mick Cooper is a clown shoe
Yep a gormless know it all that knows nothing.

I still remember when he preached that it was disgraceful that somebody had called a player "shit". He preached about how a premier league footballer can't possibly be shit and then made some weird comparisons between a a poster on a football forums footballing ability in comparison to that footballer, how they're exceptional athletes blah blah blah.

5 minutes later he stated "any fan from the stadium can put on a spurs kit and do a better job than Brennan Johnson"

When I called him out on his hypocrisy he stayed he wasn't being hypocritical looooooool. The gift that keeps on giving.

Watching us last night it is crystal clear that we have far too many bang average players. Take the likes of Kudos, Paulinha, etc out of the team and the standard drops massively. Haven't addressed our glaring left-sided issue and badly missing some of the injured players. Think we are in for a very mediocre season.

Can't help but chuckle as Hoddle and TNT say we would have lost that game last year.

Erm... no. Played the same team 4 months ago twice and thumped them twice :ange-blow:
I think (as well you know) the POINT he was making, was that at 0-2 DOWN, we'd have lost the game, not come back to draw... Last season, we were 3-1 up from the 1st leg!

I heard someone say the same thing (that "we'd have lost that last season") after the Brighton game recently, and get similar know it all pelters from the opposite direction, pointing out that we did lose that game last season... (From being 2-0 up I might add!)

...and of course it shouldn't be forgotten, (yet conveniently has been) that we played them last season in what was the equivalent of their pre-season, whereas yesterday, they're coming to the end of their domestic season, and are fully up to speed fitness & tactics wise... We are not... And it showed!
0-2 down to 2-2 against THIS B/G team was by far and away a sterner test than being 3-1 up and them HAVING to attack/score last season... Again, it showed!

Liverpool lost last night, yet I don't see them getting anywhere NEAR as much foak as we did for coming BACK to draw!
... basically because the whole of football has decided that an Istanbul atmosphere is worth a win on its own, and doesn't allow for comebacks!
We on the other hand 'only drew' with teeny-tiny Norwegian outpost minnows Bødō/Glimt... forgetting the journey, their current form, their compact tinpot ground and the plastic pitch...

Will be interesting to see how Bodø/Glimt get on in Turkey in 3 weeks time.... That might give us a better idea of who had the harder task last night!
