That was easy to do just keep FBs as FBs and not inverted and don’t play such a high line.
It's almost as if he is playing FIFA

Unbelievably Richarlison has managed to stay fit so he kind of makes up for the loss of Solanke. Yes Solanke offers more control up front but in terms of goal output and threat they are pretty similar
The loss of Son is massive. He has been on the downturn in recent years and is no longer the player he was but when fit he still offered a goal and assist threat, definitely more that the likes of Odobert and Tel
Yeah, Bodo at home are no mugs. Been said many times. People see "small team" and think "easy". But they are a throwback and an effective one. We should win that game yes, and I think we could have won without some daft rotation, but a draw there isn't a terrible result as some are making outRanked 24th in Europe. Bodo currently ranked 35th. Bodo have taken some scalps at home the past few seasons.
So a similar difference to us playing Benfica, Roma, Frankfurt.
Ranked 13th, 14th and 15th respectively.
Would you expect us to win any games against those 3 at home?
True. We've been hobbled by awful recruitment and a guy who justified his penny pinching with a "others aren't sustainable" delusion. We've then had a poor coach for two years.Fuck it you've convinced me...
We need to sack Frank today and bring Iraola in. If he's not got us playing the Tottenham way after 6 games we sack him and try the Palace manager.
If he hasn't got us playing in three games we sack him and bring back Ozzie, at least his football was entertaining...
(This is why our fanbase gets labelled as the most annoying and deluded bunch going by rivals btw)
We've become a fanbase addicted to chaos. Apart from 3 years under Poch we've had the best part of 13 years, certainly the last 7 of short term managers, Levy, the stadium, chaotic poor football and terrible transfer windows. Constant talking points and circular arguments.Fuck it you've convinced me...

These are the things Frank has to discover for himself.
We know the full limitation of these players.
Frank is still in a discovery phase and will see, relatively quickly, that the players he thinks he can count on, he can't.
All normal stuff for a new manager to chop, change, mix and match and see what works and what works consistently and what can be relied on, in the heat of battle.
I said before the game began that it was a calculated risk and it was just that.
It didn't pay off and he really should have changed it at half time instead of waiting another 20mins.
But at the same time, if he starts Kudus and he pulls something, then people say he should have rested him because iT's OnLy BoDo.
Kudus is arguably our most important player for our game to function, at all.
You need to stop the hysterics, tho.
You're coming across like a toddler.
This is all normal territory for a new manager who is getting to know his players.
He's doing well, considering injuries we have, still picking up points and maintaining commitment levels of the players until we get some of our effective attacking players back, which he hasn't had.
I'm sure none of this will temper your false narrative building, but at least try and digest some level of reasoned evaluation of the situation and keep your knickers on.
Bodo will always be an anomaly of a match. The trek to get there, the climate, the pitch, the fact they're actually a decent team. Their home record is exemplary against many much "bigger" sides than them. Wins against Besiktas, Maccabi, Twente, Olympakos, Lazio, just last season prove that they punch about their weight. Consistently. The football yesterday was turgid and inexcusable and should be beating bodo for sure.
We’re supposed to be a top 20 or better club in European football. Which of the teams in this kind of bracket have 3 senior full backs in total? 3 strikers of Solanke, richarlison and tel quality. Our only top quality winger is maybe kudus which is also debatable. Apart from him our 3 strongest attacking players are Simons, Maddison and Kulu who are probably at their best as 10s.
Poor recruitment in general and squad planning has hamstrung us for ages. Really basic stuff like having zero club home grown players is killing us as we have to leave big gaps in our European squad.
Ok, so we do agree that current pick of attackers is far inferior to what Ange had to use? Meaning that on attacking side (where we have issues) Franks job is more difficult..
I thought that you were arguing exactly for opposite view...
Beat them comfortably twice last season... they've spent 5.5m euros and we've spent over 150m since then and apparently we now have a better coach... so what gives??? It was a terrible result but far worse that the result was the performance... it was shocking... we have regressed and I know exactly what you will come back with... we're 4th in the league, not lost a game yet, Madders and Kulu are injured (players half us couldn't wait to replace in the summer)... we've played undercooked City, 2 mid table meh teams and 3 relegation candidates... teams don't fear us, they know we can only hurt them from set pieces or on the break so they can comfortably go at us knowing that if they are a little bit organised they can nullify Frank's football with ease. That's the reality and these injured players coming back won't make a blind bit of difference if we stick to low risk pragmatic football.Yeah, Bodo at home are no mugs. Been said many times. So how do you explain Ange's start? Not every manager needs time... I saw a post on here saying it's going to take 2 years for Frank to sort this out... I simply don't prescribe to that, and I am not waiting 2 fucking years for some green shoots... we need to see some sort of improvement even if it is piecemeal... but we aren't... we are seeing regression week after week and the soft scheduled has glossed over how impotent our attack is.We've become a fanbase addicted to chaos. Apart from 3 years under Poch we've had the best part of 13 years, certainly the last 7 of short term managers, Levy, the stadium, chaotic poor football and terrible transfer windows. I'd have sacked most of our managers before they were actually binned (apart from Poch and Redknapp) because i think you can always tell 12 to 18 months in but no one stands a chance if they're being judged this early. Poch and Redknapp would have been gone first few months, Iraola at Bournemouth had a shocking start, look at Glasner at Palace start of last season after a decent spell the season before.
Poch in his first season in charge took until end of October to get us into our stride and we never looked back. 2 years is a waste of time and money. So how do you explain Ange's start? What did his start prove? Total flash in the pan. We got results but please dont tell me some of those performances were much cop, Sheff Utd, Luton, Brentford, Liverpool with 9 men, Palace. We rode our luck as we're doing now. For what its worth i agree, 2 years is too long, think you can see before that but no one has got a magic wand to make a team that finished 17th and currently has front 4 options of Johnson Kudus, Simmons, Tel, Odobert and Richarlison into a fantastic, cohesive team in a few weeks. Its delusional. So how do you explain Ange's start? Not every manager needs time... I saw a post on here saying it's going to take 2 years for Frank to sort this out... It's football. It doesn't follow that beating a team last season means you'll beat them this season! I actually think we were tired vs Bodo who had had about 10 days since their last game. But in any event you could turn your argument round and point to league results and ask how on earth we explain not getting cuffed by Brighton etc. We are work in progress. We were 17th last year, getting pumped silly every weekend. Not easy to get us where we should be in a couple of months!Beat them comfortably twice last season... they've spent 5.5m euros and we've spent over 150m since then and apparently we now have a better coach... so what gives??? There is no elasticity there.Chill, we're 4th in the league, not lost a game yet and Madders and Kulu are injured....![]()
