Think he's been blancing the squad best he can with fixtures we've had. Its going to get tougher from here mind. November is yucky
Famous last words but most of our best performances have been against the best teams like City and PSG so a bad run of fixtures under Frank isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I think Frank's at his best when he can be reactive and adapt to the opposition rather than the other way around. Players like Sarr who have been quiet in recent weeks will suddenly be playing to their strengths again, and we'll have more space on the counter. Hell, even Johnson might prove useful.

The November run is horrific however you try and spin it but I'm not dreading it like I did under Ange. Even in his first season I was convinced in advance we'd lose every single tough game of that run-in when we played all the big boys in a 6 game period. This time I'm actually kinda excited to see how we shape up.

He's a very good OOP coach so I think he'll set us up pretty well in those matches where we don't necessarily need the ball and play on the counter, was very impressed of what I saw against PSG and City.

This is what Frank ought to shoot for as a bare minimum:

Villa (H) - 1
Everton (A) - 3
Newcastle (A) - 1
Chelsea (H) - 1
United (H) - 1
Woolwich (A) - 0
Monaco (A) - 1
Copenhagen (H) - 3
PSG (A) - 0

This is a really rough stretch of games. 11/27 maybe doesn't sound like much, but by at least drawing our rivals, we prevent them from making up points on us. If we can turn 1 or 2 of these into wins that would make it a lot sweeter. Villa and United home probably would be easiest to turn into wins. That would give us 15/27 which would be more than respectable. Monaco away is possibly doable as well, but will be tough, as would be Newcastle away and Chelsea home. I have no real hope for Woolwich or PSG away- if we can nick a point either of those places it would be an accomplishment.
So Frank should shoot for ( aim for I presume) 0 points against Woolwich. What a bloody ridiculous comment.

our away form so far is better than at home. Early days I know, but even the away draw was at a place weve been abolsutely rinsed at in the past and by all accounts even tho our equaliser was late it sounded like we had them on the ropes

in terms of performances, 4 out of 4 good away ones.

1/3 at home, and 2 very underwhelming v AFCB and Wolves.

That's a tough run of games and I for am not going to predict anything.

hoping to have Muani, fit up front, but even then his match fitness link upwill be off for several weeks.

So hopefully he will be able to play after the international break.

Hope to get a lot more points than that. At least change the Woolwich game to a draw it is unacceptable to lose to them.

Just one of those things we have to get through.

I think things will turn out better than we expect.

lol the 3 points away to Everton but a draw at home to United. Also Newcastle away is a cup game and Woolwich away comes after the next international break.

It's going to take a gargantuan effort to get anything out of that game, and if we are being realistic we'd probably all take a point and be happy but he's not going to be planning to play for a draw or losing, is he.
Park the bus and time waist the hell out of them. Play theim at their own cynical game and give them a dirty taste of their own medicine. Newcastle have been their bogey team the last few years because they match them physically.

I hope we line up at the emirates with a back 5 and Palhinha and Romero get very satisfying yellow cards. We'll have Danso doing the long throws. Bring on Richarlison for the last 10 mins and get him to just run into Gabriel and keep knocking him over. Take a red if he has to.

About time we stop being pushovers for them rats.
