Spurs are better than Woolwich in every position except keeper. Woolwich play every big game scared, and they will never win anything under Arteta. Arse will spend the entire game falling on the floor, desperately looking for penalties. The result will be decided by the ref, not the football.

GK is one of the few positions we have a legit claim to be on a level with the gooners. Raya is painfully overrated.

But tbh the real difference isn’t in individuals.
They are much deeper in their squad than us and their system and team chemistry is much further along.

Saying that, this year we definitely have a chance to take points off them. Mainly because we are much more savvy defensively at set pieces.

I think when Mourinho was focused and actually attempting to get us to play football (not winding up Levy or making snappy quotes for an Amazon doc), Frank mirrors his vision most closely. Compact defence, quick, hardworking midfielders and forwards, a team built around transition and set piece supremacy first, with passing a work in progress.

This kinda nails it for me- where they differ for me is that Frank seems to be a lot more versatile in-game.

Vicario is a hard one. Can be man of the match pulling off outstanding saves very few keepers make - and then a moment later flapping at the ball like it's a hot potato.

I agree that their system and chemistry is very well organised after many years of consistency in coaching staff - but it would do good to remember that they have won NOTHING in that time. Arteta has instilled a mentality in the team that they have to resort to dirty tactics; and they always enter big games looking scared.

I think Spurs depth is now very impressive, especially once Kulu, Kolo and Solanke are fit. VDV, Romero, Porro, Udogie is the best back 4 in the league. Kudus has hit the ground running, and already is top in assists in the league. Once Simmons hits his stride, and Kulu is back in the fold - our strikers will have a lot of service to feed on.

Yeah I agree. It’s very early for Frank but there are definitely signs that this project can catch them up. And our core players have won things together, whereas the gooners have choked together, especially in the biggest games

This could really be the difference maker you know! Actually winning something, together, being the squad that won the EL with Spurs after being trophy-less for 17 years..... Now these lot have had a taste of the glory lets hope it makes them hungry for more!

That Poch squad was haunted by failures in the end. I'm not sure they could have played any finals together without those shadows hanging over them. This gooner squad will suffer from the same now.

When our own fans to speak each other like this, who needs opposing fans? Are other fans like this to their own kind, or do we just hate each other as well as everyone else? A little pathetic really. See so much self-abuse of our own people on this site, it's becoming a depressing place to check-in on.

The first year is always the worst and be grateful that they’re not abusing you!
