Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Yep, true.

Eriksen. Alli. Son, Dembele, Wanyama, Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Rose all hod carriers, as was Lloris.

And the same at international level.

Poor bloke. Badly let down.
So you don’t think with that team we were one or two elite players short from accomplishing something great?!

The first eleven might have been good but the squad depth was poor when you’re relying on players like Winks and Sissoko to make a difference!

Shouldn’t have played the Champions League final because he clearly wasn’t fit, but Poch should have had the balls to introduce him from the bench.

In that case yes, but 2 x League Cup finals, Euro 2024 final, World Cup semi vs Croatia...

He's not some kind of Alan Shearer figure playing for a team that didn't get to finals. He just tends to go anonymous in them.

He scored against hugo in the other Euro semi, but ballooned the penalty (which is rare for him) so obvious had a mental block rather than being let down by the players around him

And what was the service like in those games?

Was it a case of missing gilt edged chances or the service was poor?

Not the only player to be anonymous in big games.

Mate, irrelevant.

What do you think top top players do?

Kane failed to deliver at the key moments,in the biggest games for us.

The facts speak for themselves. A hard and harsh judgement, but that's the level of the metric.

Well against croatia he famously fluffed a shot, then chose not to pass it to sterling, missing again.

He might have also taken a hint not to take EVERY damn free kick when he was blatantly awful at them.

Kane Olise and Diaz is a much better attack. Musiala is individually a great player but he is greedy and his link up is often poor. Diaz, Kane and Olise are elite at combining. If Bayern can sort their back line out more they could be the best team in Europe as their forward line probably is the best or at least the best balanced.
I assume that Bayern are hoping that Musiala is going to mature as he gets older and the greediness will subside.

Starting to think he won’t come back to the PL. It is a great life for a footballer playing and living in Munich. They are treated like heroes around the city and within the stadium. He’s paid a ridiculous amount of money too. I’m not sure there is a real reason to come back unless his family want to.

Thierry Henry never scored in a final and Haaland famously ghosts in latter rounds of cup comps (both players played in far better sides than Spurs btw)

The metric is BS because it lacks context.

There have been a couple of times for England where he's bottled big moments, sure...But the narrative thay surrounds him as if he's some sort of curse when his team loses a big match is forced and desperate...for example many people were pointing the finger at him when Bayern lost to Real in the CL last year when in fact it was Neuer who dropped a clanger in the last minute.

The very best teams find a way, not exclusively the players.

I'd have thought with just 47 goals needed, he'd come back after a couple of years.

Even at 32, he's got the ability and then some. He was never about pace.

Especially when can move back once retired.

Heck, Kate and the kids could even move back first if it is a matter of the kids schooling. But they have English language schools in Münich I believe.

Mental gymnastics. Its mind boggling. If he played for any other team hed be hailed as an all time great. But people here just believe tge social media tripe that comes out.
Same people that would dismiss what hes doing now but would hail lewandowski as world class
You’d think with the current dross we have upfront, every supporter would be drooling at the prospect of having a striker of his quality return rather than turning their nose up!

I understand some fans like SpiderSpurs SpiderSpurs still holding a grudge over the city debacle, but nothing performance related!

Like you say, mind boggling!

That guy is a strange one, he makes it his mission to outwardly disrespect Kane and Poch at every opportunity he gets, it's almost as if he wants to be different.

Rubbish.

Yhe very best find a way,so Haaland needs to step-up in the finals, to cement his place, or he will sit with Kane in that group below the elite.
