Tbh I think it might be a smokescreen by Radcliffe. Wants two more years out of almorim as if he sacks him now will have to pay 2 years compensation.
Sounds like the man maths I use for buying a new car! 😂

The amount he loses for potentially finishing near the relegation places it’s never worth it. Couple that with how much more you’ve got to pay top players to join you (even if you can convince them to) if you’re in the bottom half of the table and it’s never worth letting him see out his contract.

I'm wondering if it's a long game to devalue the club to make it cheaper for him to buy out more of the glazers

Either than or he's so wealthy he can afford to completely troll united for a personal jolly.

I know I'd love to have enough spare cash to buy one or two of our neighbours and plunge them into the dark ages
Ange's next club?

That's a personal dream of mine too, I'd rather do that than buy Spurs tbh.
🤭

TBH I don't think it's possible to ever be a hero to the fans of a football club you own, bar a miracle. Fans will always have something to moan about.

HOWEVER... buying a rival club, sinking them into the abyss and then doing a mic-drop of "TTID" on the last day of the season would probably get you a statue outside the lane

Saw that united fan who wont have a haircut until united win 5 games in a row. 3 more years of almorim. That blokes hair might be long enough to go round the world several times.

Amorim is their 6th manager in the last 12.5 years, and this includes Moyes who had less than a year. So it's more like 5 fulltime managers in just under 12 years.

Except the likes of City, Liverpool and Woolwich whose averages in this timespan are skewed for obvious reasons, their managerial turnover rate is certainly among the lowest. And a good amount of their fans still think that they sack managers far too often and too soon.

Ratcliffe should actually keep Amorim at least until the end of this season. They certainly adore their managers over there.

Think they are going to go on a bit if a run now.

Beat Brighton, who they have lost to in the last 3 seasons and hmmmmmmm....

You just get a sense that Amorim is beginning to eke out optimum performance from his players, which is what every manager needs to do.
