Literally impossible to argue that our biggest issue right now is the attacking players when you see that.
Kudus has been even better than we realized in that context because without him, it’s been very very rough.
Will be interesting to see how Frank adapts to this because it’s the first real challenge of his tenure.
Tottenham happened!
That's not even our strongest front three....Yes light years.
Gordon - Woltemade - Barnes
Vs
Odobert - Tel - Kudus
What is our strongest front 3?That's not even our strongest front three....
Barnes? lol
what are you smoking dude I want some?
Spursidol, VonnegutBusy & Distaste for Scouse
At this moment I’d go with
That is our best starting 11.We cannot keep playing the same 11 every couple of days but have little choice regarding the back 4. I would start Muani as we need to get him up to speed. Let’s see how long he can last hopefully 60 mins. Palhinha will need a rest soon and so Bentencur will be needed then so rest him.
Vic,
Porro, Danso, VDV, Spence
Bergvale, Palhinha, Simmons
Kudus, Muani, Odebert
Only 2 changes which is not ideal but again we will need to use the subs to rest the likes of Kudus for the weekend but this is too important and with the injuries to take any further changes.
Will be difficult but hopefully will get some sort of result.
Archie Gray might get a start at full back. That is our best starting 11.
Frank has a seriously tough job, trying compete in everything with only half a squad and very few options to rotate with.
Also looks like Djed and Porro with be run into the ground over the next couple of weeks/months, because getting another LB was to fecking easy, so let's gamble on players not getting injured and take the cheaper option, Levynomics 101.
It's going to horrible for the next few weeks..
I would like to see Veliz brought back, currently scoring for fun for Romario. Some people simply have no patience.
Some of them are former Ange fanbois.
Some are just fucking stupid.
It is obvious we need to upgrade at LW and Striker (ideally in January).
it takes time to change football systems and we haven't exactly been getting beaten week in week out.
Xavi will improve. He’s a top player. Wirtz is better and playing in a far better team and they’ve left him out.I think Frank has acknowledged the issue with attacking players in part by saying its easier/faster to coach defensive actions/plays into players than attacking moves.
Problem with playing mid week/weekend is that with travel days and a rest day after a match I think Frank only gets 2 or maybe 3 days a week to coach players ..... I had hoped that Simons would come with coaching from previous managers and make an immediate improvement, but that's no happening and its partly that Simons seems to want to wait for ball to come to him rather than dropping deep from time to time to pick it up .......
Lots to work on
Veliz has 3 in 10. Not that much fun.I would like to see Veliz brought back, currently scoring for fun for Romario.
Him and Muani should see us till the end of the season, but Muani needs games so we can see what he's all about.
But LB, LCB and LW are the 3: priorities, competition/ first choice for Udogie, proper cover for VdV, and obviously a good quality LW.
No point getting a striker if we can't feed them and I would like us to give the youngsters a shot, the seniorsbarevfailing miserably.
