Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I becoming more convinced it's 3-4-3
I’d be surprised at that because I’m wondering who the LWB would be if not VDV. And if he wasn’t one of the 3 at the back, I’m already out on a back 3 of Gray, Palhinha and Danso.

I think it’ll be Danso Palhinha with VDV at LB, or at least I’m really hoping so. If only to see Gray at the 6, so he can get a game in the position we actually bought him for long term 😂

We should put out the strongest XI, score goals and defend from there. The starting lineup to me is to contain and break again, which to me is what we are weak at. Basically the lineup looks to be chasing the game right from the start already because I really don't know where the goals will come from.

Kudus - Muani - Xavi should be the front 3 if Frank is dead set on starting both Palhinha and Bentancur.

I was 100 per cent sure Muani would start. The Champions League, in France, with all the eyes on him would seem the perfect chance for him to show what he can do.

Have to say it's been disappointing to see Bentancur getting so many minutes.

And also Muani barely getting any minutes.

The season in terms of the impact from new signings just hasn't been there at all so far.

WTF has happened to Sarr.

WTF does Sarr have to do to get some game time?! Did he mess with Frank's just for men bottle or something?
And would love to know what pics Bentancur has of Frank cos no way he deserves another start

Hope this line up works for us because if not it's on Frank.

Going from the player that had the best pre-season to not starting games. Doesn't make much sense, Frank needs to get out of this fixated Bentancur/Palhinha combination mindset but others are saying Palhinha could be playing at CB and Gray at CM. Despite that, it remains strange considering Frank started him in the first four PL games.

Bentancur hat trick and midfield masterclass incoming!
You should work for his PR team!

I assume you mean those 5...?
But agreed, having 9 (N..I..N..E) missing players affects both starting XI AND the bench!

We really need to sort the medical situation out... 'cos this has been dogging us for years, if not over a decade now, and over MULTIPLE managers!!

IMO the roots of the problem lie in
- the 'winter' WC (Richarlison injured in warm up of Brazil's last game, and other than scoring eveery game for 6 weeks has largely been injury fit or rarely scoring for almost 3 years
- FIFA/UEFA's ever increasing WC and euro competitions continued expansion of number of countries competing leading to too many games and increasingly long tournaments ...... so reduced club preseasons = players more likely to get injured
- The new FIFA Club WC adding a new tournament in a summer, again reducing preseason for players and reducing rest = players more prone to injuries
- New CL/EL formats adds an extra 2 games into League/Group stage .... and its a more competitive format so less chance to rest players

All this kind of stuff is why there are calls for larger squads

On top of that the PL has got ever more competitive particularly for teams playing in europe who play weekend and midweek for months on end. So any layer getting injured becomes an issue, and they need to be fully fit before playing otherwise big chance of another injury ........ this is the bit the club medical staff need to focus on and improve on.
