Did you see what Bergvall was doing with the ball when he got it - that alone probably explains why they weren't passing to him. Really off it last nightThe pair of frankensteins in CM didn’t once find Bervall with a single pass. Amazing stat
Smash those two somehow and things approve. Time for Gray IMO
Find the youth team game and watch that instead.
Tonight was comparable to Gala away last year. And Gala have far more weapons than Monaco.
We comfortably accounted for Bodo 6 months ago. We barely scraped a draw against them a few weeks ago.
It doesn't help anyone to pretend we aren't struggling big time at the moment. We are so reliant on our starting back 5 playing. We simply have no one forward of our defence who can win games for us any more.
i know an attacking minded manager who’s availableTonight was comparable to Gala away last year. And Gala have far more weapons than Monaco.

Only thing I can say is if we HAVE to rotate, it might be a good idea to play Johnson a bit more at RW and Kudus at LW if you have to, just so we aren't short in attack. Otherwise agree- not missing Johnson much.
I really DO think we're merely holding the fort until Solanke & Kulu return ...Absolutely.
The issue is a simple one.
Teams gain confidence from our lack of attacking threat. Like I said earlier no talisman.
Kudus, for all his strengths has no end product.
Our midfield is also baffling, but avoiding defeat is always always important
We move on.
Eriksens retired mate... Thees nothing he can do to help us now!!!
what odds that Akliouche looks like a superstar on wednesday, prompting calls that we shouldve went for him over Simons

We’ve scored from 1 long throw this season in the super cup as far as I can recall so we can’t even class that as a weapon. We’ve played 13 games! With our main means of attack being Danso's long throw ins, we're the Tamworth of the Champions League.
He was very good. So comfortable on the ball. Our players looked untidy. There’s nothing smooth about us.
Where are you, prison?Couldn't watch it as I'm 3 hours ahead and even if I did stay up until almost 1am watching it, either the wifi or stream I found was poor.
Is it even worth me searching hi and lo for "highlights" ?
Discovery+ doesn't work here and I cba with useless VPN's that just never work.
Tbh we should have got spanked just that Monaco didn’t put away any of their great chances. I think this crap about last season blah blah blah is BS. It’s not as if we were any better in defence than last season was it. The 0-0 hides a multitude of issues and people hang onto the score rather than look at the over picture. We can’t create anything and we actually just as bad in defence.
Mauritius.
That defensive display was horrendous, the amount of times they passed their way around our players was embarrassing. If it hadn't been for Vicario we could have shipped 5 at least - and if they hadn't been so inept from any distance (unlike Villa) it would have been worse.Sorry but we are much much better in defence than last season and it’s actually insane people are saying this. Yes last night was poor and Vicario saved us but this season generally we’ve been far more solid.
We couldn’t even keep a clean sheet under Ange in two seasons and we’ve had quite a few under Frank already. That isn’t down to luck mate
If it hadn't been for Vacario we could have shipped 5 at least - and if they hadn't been so inept from any distance (unlike Villa) it would have been worse.
Last nights result relied more on luck than a game of Russian roulette.
