Match Chelsea fuckwits (H) - 1st November, 530KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That was pathetic in every single way. Cowardly set up, poorly thought out subs and then petulant lazy fouls which waste time and play into Chelsea hands.

This Chelsea side are bang average and we couldn’t even muster a 10 minute spell of sustained pressure at home to them, extremely worrying.

We saw what this club did last season with attacking tactics.

Frank is playing poker with a 7 2 split.
agreed but i think we can attack without repeating ange suicide ball. i continue to think pahlinha and bentancur shouldn't play together especially at home and we should drop one for sarr or bergval in the double pivot and play a number 10. i get that our attacking options are near non existent but i just think we have to be more brave or we'll sink into what we saw today.

I think it's time we just admit it

The squad is shit midfield can't pick a pass wingers can't beat a man or get a ball in strikers cant score.

Other then the two CBs and Kudus i think we could make a case that the entire squad needs replacing and gutting
It’s (mostly) tactical. The tactical set up with these players needs to be narrower. The stretching of the pitch with these players is never ever going to work. Didn’t under Ange, doesn’t now. It’s creating 11 players too far apart. And surrendering the middle of the pitch.

We have so many unproven kids in our squad too. Bergvall, Sarr both started. Are they good enough? no, they might be in a few years but not right now.

Chelsea had two £100 million midfielders in their CM. We have Sarr and Bergval. That is the difference.
It's awful.

Some of us said what a bad window that Solanke/Odebert one was.

It was shocking.

We have some quality players, but this squad is just not right.

Needs loads of work.

We hate them, but you have to hand it to scum in getting their house in order in this regard.

And look at the result.

What the hell is nuanced about this? This is the worst football I've ever seen. There is nothing about it.

I'm not expecting miracles. I don't think we'll win every week like some of the nutters on here. But seeing a semblance of attacking football is too much to ask for apparently.

Shame that people are accepting that this is our standard. I'm never going to be happy watching this crap. Sorry.
We’re not good atm, but the Ange boys saying this is unacceptable is quite funny. Loss after loss last season was more than fine, but this? Losing a game against a team we always lose to? Too much to take.

Question Mark What GIF by MOODMAN
Yep, how do I vent without this forum, I’ve had to endure that torture all by myself. 😡

Absolute shambles today, from manager to the team, apart from Vic, Paulinha, Romero and to a certain extent RKM. Frank is slowly turning us into Brentford, becoming totally reliant on set pieces, long balls from all parts of the field, including throws, surely a bit of variation from throws is necessary even if to keep other teams guessing.
Set pieces were horrendous, we made one of the dodgiest keepers in the league look like prime Buffon.
But it is the lack of composure, lack of urgency and the total lack of ability to play the ball through the middle of the park that is so worrying. Our home record is shockingly poor, how we are third in the league is baffling.
Said it from day 1 serious concerns re Simon's and the premier league, not getting the time on the ball he got in Germany and completely unable to deal with the physicality, and now looks like it has really hit his confidence as well.
Porro was awful today, his passing was terrible and the less said about his set pieces the better, think Frank should have got udogie on earlier with Spence switching to the left. Vdv worst performance of the year as well.
The game completely passed Sarr by again, made no impact against Chelsea's trio and left Paulinha and Bentancur with some amount of work to get through, then Bents card essentially finished his day. We badly need new blood in there, preferably in Jan. So if the Lewis crew are serious then let's see the proof.
Thought RKM did all he could with such limited service and near cried when he moved him to the wing to accommodate our latest Brazilian flop.
It's sickening how we lose our shit against these planks, running around like headless chickens, forget how to take set pieces and generally fail to show, no matter who is the manager or who are the players.

I would never advocate for a manger going after this amount of time, coupled with the fact there's been some decent result in that time, but that was beyond awful, and we've had quite a few woeful performances.

We know the squad has its issues, but should we be that bad? I'm pretty sure there's a better performance available than that. Someone mentioned checking out for the season and I feel close to that. Imagine paying for a season ticket now (and yes the atmosphere has been shocking too, but if you've paid a fortune no doubt it would be pretty cutting to watch that, best decision of the season was me not getting involved there)
