Yeah, some of this must be filtering through (surely?) but there really needs to be someone support side taking ownership of this and bringing it to the club because there's so many ways in which we are actively hampering our home games. When you look at our current record, should be busting a gut in analysing where we could improve - stewards, away fan placement, every minute detail to give us an advantage and the away team the opposite. It's not a sodding spa away dayI attended yesterday's game and sat in the North Lower, Block 113, next to the Chelsea contingent.
I was a season ticket holder in the lower Paxton throughout the 90's up until 2008.
Our current vocal support in this part of the ground is disgraceful. Not a patch on what it was.
Read all the crap about making yesterday's game a cauldron of noise. Five minutes into the game and the steward patrolling the steps in block 113 was telling everybody to sit down and making threats about being ejected from the stadium for non compliance.
What on earth is going on at THFC?
The Chelsea supporters just stood throughout the game and took the absolute piss while the Spurs supporters were instructed to sit down and suck it up.
Something needs to be done about the stewarding in this area and the away supporters need to be moved next to the the South Stand if the aim is for Spurs to win home games.
It was an absolute joke from start to finish.
Think they should allocate west corner upper next to the park lane also. Part of the beauty of the old WHL was having the away fans to banter and try outsing in park lane. Created a fiery atmosphere

Towards the end Reece James was giving the Chelsea fans the big come on - I did shout from the mid north tier don’t you know your fan base are the most vile racist fans going? - sadly I don’t think he heard me cos he seemed to ignore me!!How did you not know?
Their fans are amongst the most odious, racist Fanbases in football...
They proudly ally themselves with neo-Nazi groups...

Football hooligan with 'Lee Rigby freezer' boasted of Nazi salutes at Auschwitz
WARNING OFFENSIVE CONTENT: Jason Marriner was at the heart of Donal MacIntyre's documentary into football hooliganism - and it exposed the Chelsea Headhunters' sickening links to far-right groupswww.dailystar.co.uk
They're a stain on society, but as long as we as a club fail to beat them ON the pitch with any regularity, then their fans OFF the pitch feel vindicated and emboldened to be any way they like towards us....
That's why I despise them as human beings, let alone the filth stain of a club they support....
Woolwich hatred is just historic and a long-standing rivalry...
Chelsea is different... pure vile filth!
Yeah, I've seen a lot of people defending criticism of the support and while you absolutely can understand some apathy building over the last year or so, there's no doubt the singing has been pretty shocking. It's so quiet at times, the club need to be thinking about how they can improve it because the football and the fans might not be able to do it themselves. Also a lot of away fans I've spoken to are often more than happy to say how poor the atmosphere has beenThe lack of singing was very sad.
The Paxton was never as loud as the Park Lane and the Shelf, 90's - 08, but the contrast with yesterday was shocking.
Paxton Road would have been very noisy for a home game with Chelsea when I had my season ticket there.
The away support were in the South West corner in those days which kept the Park Lane lively and that would spread to the South East part of the Shelf.
The away supporters need to be relocated to the South end of the West to help the team.
The league is so packed together. We're 2 points ahead of 11th, and after this run, inevitably playing woefully, we'll be well down there after 18 games.I don’t think I’ve seen a Tottenham team as boring in my 44 years of supporting us. Even when we’re utterly shit in the 90s we always created chances and scored goals.
Yesterday was horrendous and it’s up there with Bournemouth and Villarreal. It’s a tough watch and I never ever think we are going to score when we go forward. Our league position is bonkers considering how bad we are.

Hate where we’ve put the away fans. Even on tv, they are very prominent. Maybe it doesn’t make a difference I don’t know but look at all the difficult away grounds to go to, the away fans are barely visible from a broadcast perspective. Subconsciously I feel that has an effect on how people view coming to our ground. Small margins maybe but they make a difference.
Or stick them on the roof and make it compulsory for away fans to wear roller skates up there!
Joking aside, For all the intricate planning and attention to detail that went into the design and layout of the stadium, you would've thought this would be a massive consideration...It makes a huge difference.
The linesman is right in front of the away supporters when he has to call offside / penalty decisions. Fucking ridiculous for Spurs to give the away team such a huge advantage.
Those who travelled to Newcastle in the week will understand this better than anyone.
Travelling supporters would be closer to the action if they watched away games @ Newcastle in the pubs near the ground. They put you in the third tier fucking miles away. Linesman @ St James's never feel intimidated or obligated to side with anyone other than Toon.
Or stick them on the roof and make it compulsory for away fans to wear roller skates up there!
The atmosphere in the concourse behind 253 is always raucous, but simply dissipates as soon as everyone disperses to their various parts of the stand at kick off... I'm not saying we have to instil division within the ground, but a designated SINGING FANS section RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE, or better still TWO areas, one further up, and one directly below to create a singing 'spine' that can spread organically across the stand, and hopefully the rest of the stadium...By the same token, I also think a designated 'tourist/photo op' section higher up would provide not only a spectacular view for peoples' Insta pages, but also stop the nauseating sight of swathes of the South stand crowd NOT clapping during chants, for fear of dropping their phones!!!
....and yes, shove the Away fans as far away from sight (and sound) as possible!!!
I smell a Club led fan survey initiative this Summer!!!
Ffs he was bought in to improve the players, make us hard to beat and generally a more professional looking team that looks as if it has been coached. We look nothing but that at the moment.Anyone blaming Frank, "Doesn't matter if it looks like a Porsche (Nice big stadium), when it has a VW beetle Engine (Levy's Sub Par Players), it is a Beetle".
It may look the part but it will never be the part. And No mechanic on the Planet will make it perform like a Porsche.
Frank cannot make miracles with these players
Absolute shambles today, from manager to the team, apart from Vic, Paulinha, Romero and to a certain extent RKM. Frank is slowly turning us into Brentford, becoming totally reliant on set pieces, long balls from all parts of the field, including throws, surely a bit of variation from throws is necessary even if to keep other teams guessing.
Set pieces were horrendous, we made one of the dodgiest keepers in the league look like prime Buffon.
But it is the lack of composure, lack of urgency and the total lack of ability to play the ball through the middle of the park that is so worrying. Our home record is shockingly poor, how we are third in the league is baffling.
Said it from day 1 serious concerns re Simon's and the premier league, not getting the time on the ball he got in Germany and completely unable to deal with the physicality, and now looks like it has really hit his confidence as well.
Porro was awful today, his passing was terrible and the less said about his set pieces the better, think Frank should have got udogie on earlier with Spence switching to the left. Vdv worst performance of the year as well.
The game completely passed Sarr by again, made no impact against Chelsea's trio and left Paulinha and Bentancur with some amount of work to get through, then Bents card essentially finished his day. We badly need new blood in there, preferably in Jan. So if the Lewis crew are serious then let's see the proof.
Thought RKM did all he could with such limited service and near cried when he moved him to the wing to accommodate our latest Brazilian flop.
It's sickening how we lose our shit against these planks, running around like headless chickens, forget how to take set pieces and generally fail to show, no matter who is the manager or who are the players.
Won our most significant trophy for 40 years and gave proper fans the best night they've had for generations.
At least every game was entertaining. I'd have Ange back over this dross any day.
How would you describe it?
