Sure, if the plan is to get relegated by Alf Ramsey's simple brother.

You sure you meant Ramsey?

Seeing lots of mention of Solanke, but not one word about Muani today....

Did he look like he was in danger of improving the attack any time soon?

People still saying we miss Solanke's hold up play....... Can't Muani press and hold the ball up?

What Kosher Kid Kosher Kid is saying about the stewards, the fans layout and away fans is really shocking. How did they get this so wrong when all other aspects seem to be meticulously planned? I hope this can be raised and taken seriously by the club to properly resolve it.

It's like we've shot our legs off by doing things that way, and who the fuck are these stewards behaving like that..sounds like rival fans nothing to do with Tottenham. Don't they wear any ID or anything like that? Can't they be reported?

Didn't really notice him - until Richarlison was on the pitch because then I could recognise who was the poor cunt up top trying to compete for desperate hoof balls with no k e following up in midfield for the second ball :cautious:

And it used to be the opposite of that.

Away supporters loved WHL because of the atmosphere.

The location of the away supporters is one of the biggest problems the new stadium has in my opinion.

Within 5 minutes of Paul Coyte attempting to artificially stimulate the crowd; the steward in block 113 was literally patrolling up and down the steps telling everyone to sit down and thretaening to have them thrown out.

It was a piss take.

Do we even know if these people support Spurs?
How times have changed. Back in my youth I did some stewarding at the Lane and that consisted of doing next to fuck all. A quick cursory check of a ticket and even that was a bit of an effort. Our main aim was to watch the game for free while shamelessly trying to spot any fit girls. We didn’t give a fuck about people standing other than ignoring it and the head stewards used to just roll their eyes.

I heard fans say things every week that would get you arrested now. It feels like the fans have gone a bit soft. Some of these stewards need to realise who’s paying their crappy wages and wind their neck in.

RKM just feels like a bit of an enigma atm........

People were mad that PSG beat us to him and would have gladly seen us pay 80m for him then and since. I'm not seeing someone that engenders that kind of 'wow' factor.

I'm sure RKM can do fine, but he's barely played with the team and is clearly not well integrated with the other players in an attacking sense; it feels like they are still all figuring out what he can and can't do exactly.

At a more fundamental level below that, our team is terribly short of attacking depth, and Xavi isn't quite at the level to be able to pop in and effectively orchestrate a leading prem offense yet. Frank has played somewhat too conservative at the back (arguable based on current table position/results/stats), and so we find ourselves decent enough at defense but clearly lacking in attack.

Time spent growing together will solve that, and the return of Solanke, Kulu, and Madders will help more yet.

All this talk of being upset about our performance right now ignores the injury situation and difficult realities of trying to quickly integrate a leading prem team. Saturday was disappointing but we shouldn't let that bias our perception of the overall picture so far.

It would be far more realistic to assume Madz wont be much use to anyone til next season.

Agree, but we don't know that for sure yet, and it's the current long-term prognosis without any other confirmed ins or outs. Obviously we all are hoping the club wants to add more attacking talent than just the obviously needed LW, and CAM would be a position they could help us a lot by doing so.

How the fuck you can consider the vast majority of last season's games "entertaining" is mystifying.

All the supa-attacking football was long gone by the end of season 1.
I hate us losing, and yes, losing so many games last season was tough, but at least we had a go at teams in those games.

The game on the weekend was the worst performance I've seen of any premier team ever. Worse than any game last year.

Some of the players clearly have no respect for the manager or eachother, and we already know where this is going to end,

The lack of singing was very sad.

The Paxton was never as loud as the Park Lane and the Shelf, 90's - 08, but the contrast with yesterday was shocking.

Paxton Road would have been very noisy for a home game with Chelsea when I had my season ticket there.

The away support were in the South West corner in those days which kept the Park Lane lively and that would spread to the South East part of the Shelf.

The away supporters need to be relocated to the South end of the West to help the team.

It’s purely logistics.

We designed a south stand where 17k people go into. We shifted the away fans as far away from the entrance to said stand so it’s easier to get people in there.
The main entrance to the spurs megastore is on the high road so it makes sense to keep away fans away from that area too.

Also when they leave they are far away from the people leaving the south stand.

It makes perfect sense why they are where they are.

And I used to sit in 423. One of the main reasons I gave up my ST was that the way support could do whatever the fuck they wanted.
We stand up for 30 seconds you get treated like a child and on numerous times got threatened with being thrown out and having my ST stopped for a few games.

I was a fire hazard allegedly!!

At the same time away fans were literally standing on their seats!! Madness.

I think we're starting to scratch the surface....
Nothing against the bloke, and I know it runs deeper than Paul Coyte, but I think we can get someone slightly more intimidating than him... If needed at all!

Reading the away team's names out quickly prematch is also a MASSIVE missed opportunity...
Not only is it petty, it doesn't give home fans time and breath to 'give them a proper' intimidating Welcome!

I'm kinda serious.... I'm a game that's become all about that extra 1% and no detail left unaddressed... Making the opposition players feel absolutely Despised and UNWELCOME is the very start of the mind games....
Skipping through their names doesn't even get them worried...
If anything, it probably annoys them as it shows slight disrespect!

ESPECIALLY on Saturday.... We coulda made that welcome TOXIC for them: Boo, whistle jeer EVERY CUNT in their team sheet and make them Know they're in BANDIT COUNTRY now!
instead we squirt fire out of some black boxes, and probably gave the East stand front row 2nd degree facial burns!

We did not have a go at all.. Yesterdays performance was the norm last year.
