Ex-Spurs Player Brennan Johnson

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sincerely hope at least one PL chairman has the same view as some posters in this thread when we're trying to move him on.

We might actually get our money back after all.

He just keeps finding new ways to disappoint me.

Still hides behind players so he can’t be passed the ball, so at least he has kept that consistency.

Quality finish but we know he can do that. It’s the rest. But it has been covered ad nauseam.

One interesting thing. Frank was asked in his post match press conference what johnson could do to improve. And he didn’t answer it. He just said that he had played more games recently and that was it.

He. Is. A. Striker. IMO.

His strengths are undoubtably taking shots when he doesn’t have to think about it. First time, popping up at the last moment. Running onto balls and finishing. This is where almost all of his goals come from.

He's not a striker, hold up play and back to goal play is non existent

He is a good goalscorer and he's the only one we have available. Despite his limitations we probably have to find a way to get him in the starting XI now, there just aren't enough goals from the other forwards.

I expect Frank will try to find more solutions like he did away at Everton with Kudus tucked in and Brennan at RW. It's not ideal but we have to work with what we've got. He's the only player we have who can finish coolly.

Muani is getting up to speed. We should have Solanke and Kulu back soon. So there should be more goals in the team. Finally

Very good goal last night by Johnson though. That finish was very difficult

He said he was good at Everton. That blows my mind 😂

for all his faults i got to say the timing of his attacking runs when he chooses to make them are exquisite, and his finishing clinical.

Goalscorer supreme. Just needs to do it more.

Yhe impressive thing for me, when Johnson does score is that it invariably is an opening goal.

We need more from him and all our players ,however, and that is for Frank to ensure.

A clin our size and wanting to sit at the top table can't have bitty and average performers.

He was alright, did good to make the run in behind for the goal. Yeah the keeper fucked up but it wasn't an easy finish from that position.

Was not a straight red card offence, but a brainless decision to try and make that type of tackle where he did..

Last minute attempt if someone was clean through, then maybe OK, but not what he did.. Just gave the Ref and VAR a chance to do what they ended up doing.

There are more Copenhagens in this world than Real Madrids.
BJ scored in 2 games v United last season, though, as well as City this season.
You're not wrong. It's just down the road from Denmark.

Had to be one in America, didn't there?

Nonsense

Anyone pull that BS on me I'm close to headbutting them. Careless challenge from behind. Lopez foot gets stuck and he twists his ankle pretty bad. I'd rather say respect to Lopez for not making a meal out of it
It's at least a yellow, but debatable on yellow/red IMO. Did BJ's challenge pose a serious risk of injury? His studs weren't up. Just from the TV shots I tend to think it was more a yellow. Nasty challenge, but more yellow than red from I've seen.

Erm no there aren’t unless you play in a shit league. We play in the best one, in which every single team has a much higher budget and is better than Copenhagen.

In that league this season he has 2 goals 0 assists in 10 appearances, including a number of starts where has has offered nothing.

Yeah he can scrape the occasional tap in but now suicide ball is gone, the one trick this pony can pull off isn’t baring as much fruit.

1 goal every 5 matches isnt near enough for a wide player who creates NOTHING.

Said it before and will say it again, Johnson is just Harvey Barnes in an all white shirt. Fuck him off to the bottom half.
