If there is any hyperventilating then it will be because the players have not put in the appropriate effort. We all will accept losing to a better team but when our players just don’t turn up and don’t put in a shift then that’s when we get upset and pissed off with them.

Re writing off a match as a foregone conclusion and therefore not watching it .
We went to Tamworth earlier this year and managed to draw in normal time . Who’d have predicted that ? And remember there’s no extra-time in CL group games . We could pull a similar feat and emerge with a hard-fought point despite all the soothsayers and experts .
It’s us , Tottenham; always worth watching, expect the unexpected.

Losing to the other CHAMPIONS of Europe (they know what they are) is no disgrace....
Losing to the PL Champions elect yesterday shouldn't be either...
It's the NATURE of the defeat that hurts...
