Match PSG v Tottenham Hotspur Wednesday 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Do what Maths? an injury hit PSG team that also hasn't hit top gear are not better than Woolwich currently so the idea that they will score double figures is ofcourse absurd.
Read my original post again.

Anyway, even an injury-hit PSG who play at 50% are plenty good enough to win by 3, 4 or 5 against our side.

But hey, you just never know with the most bipolar club in world football...we could go to Paris and win 3-0 just as easily as we could lose by a mad margin. Regardless of whether we play Frankball, Angeball, magic 8 ball...

Frank has really backed himself into a corner now. Sarr and Bergvall will be expecting to start tonight, so will simons! But ideally Frank woould prob prefer to do the back 5 again with Bentancur and Palhinha. I'd say he's really struggling to pick today's team. I think he might drop Danso and Bentancur for Sarr and Bergvall. Maybe start Simons off the left ahead of Odobert.

He's got a free shot tonight. Play defensive and damage limitation. It should suit his defensive style. His big test is fulham on Saturday and getting an attacking line up on the pitch!
Simons on the left…that worked well last time.

I've landed on the following scenarios

a) PSG will score early and often across the 90 mins as our players look at one another, arms waving, no idea who is meant to be marking who and so on... final score 8-0 (XG 0.02)
b) We will do something similar to Sunday... back five, two holding, zero ambition, frustration watching our only offensive players feeding off scraps and surrounded by 2 or 3 PSG players whenever they get the ball... we will hold out for 20 mins before the inevitable and then PSG get another just after half time and maybe a third and fourth in the final ten as we TRY manfully to push forward... final score 4-0 (XG 0.4)
c) We see a marked improvement on Sunday. Players dig in... win more of the 50/50 duels. We go in at the break 0-0 with a sudden urge to think can we cause an upset... second half starts but we very quickly lose concentration and PSG score. Second yellow for Palhinha in the 75th meeting which leads to a second goal then PSG just kill the game making every sub they possibly can because they know there is no threat from us... final score 2-0 (XG 0.1)

Sadly I just don't see any other scenarios under this manager.

Come on option C!!! The least embarrassing.

It's just occured to me...
If we finish out of the CL Top 8 but qualify for a playoff game, that'll suit the club more with additional revenue from the home leg, no??

I genuinely don't think we'll go all out to qualify directly, when there's the possibility of an extra game to coin it in from!

Fuck it, I'm just gonna enjoy the game tonight.

No real pressure or expectations to win, just to soak up the occasion and perform with the shackles off. ..

It's the Champions League FFS... The holy grail we're all supposed to arrive for and cover... We're here... let's at least TRY to absorb the positives!

Fuck it!

I haven’t even bothered listening to that fucking bullshit.

I’m rich, she wants my money to give to the peasants who have none. That’s the gist of it.

I’d rather watch Spurs lose tonight than listen to that crap.
You’re not THE Tony Soprano are you? 😂

If we win tonight I think it’s only fair you rub one out to the budget with the sound on. Heckling and all.

After all, they’re going to fuck everyone eventually & someone’s got to come first 🤣

I reckon it’s a safe bet for you anyway.

I predict that we will lose this football match
