Much better tonight. No disgrace losing 5-3 away at the best team in Europe, even if there were some player brain farts in there. Biggest difference was a mobile, athletic and ambitious midfield.

We lost because of individual errors to make it 3-2 and 4-2. I can live with that as that's not a systematic thing.
Finally some encouraging signs to cling on to, now let's see how Fulham goes

I think tonight was a good night for Frank. He got the tactics spot on and will have learned an awful lot about his players. I hope one of his key takeaways is that we need to have Gray and Bergval on the pitch much more. I'd like to see at least one of them start against Fulham this weekend.

Its very frustrating to throw away a lead twice and concede 5 goals but after the shit we served up on Sunday, I'm taking tonight as a step in the right direction. Nothing positive came from Sunday, tonight i saw a few things i really liked. But the Fulham game is huge for frank now. We need an attacking performance and a win. Anything less and he's really in trouble.

Fair play to Frank, he had a proper think and changed it up.

We pressed higher, better off the ball movement, interchanging and all round more attacking intent. Two up top worked and more legs in midfield.

Sloppy moments and individual errors cost us a possible result.

Much better Thomas, now you've shown you can be brave away to PSG....for love of God let's see the same approach and energy for Fulham.

I think he will have leaned a lot about our players tonight. I think we’ve under estimated the Ange hangover.
Was always gonna take him time to learn what he's got as he has to see how they perform when the heat is on whilst also trying to find the right chemistry and balance.

Players definitely let themselves down out there, as they put in enough hard work to get something out of the game, yet denied themselves that with poor lapses in crunch moments.

Someone else said it, but I think he just needs to play Gray and Bergval most games now. We seem so much more athletic with them in the side.

I think play them with one of palhinha or Bentancur. Xavi on the left, Muani up top and one of the other attackers on the right (doesn’t matter who, they’re all equally meh).

Squad needs a lot of work. Do the club have the appetite for it, I doubt it.

You are blaming Ange for Frank's team letting in 5 goals tonight.
These performances are on Frank , Ange left 6 months ago,

And if you truly believe that these losses are still on Ange , then Frank needs to be sacked for not doing his job
It's bananas.

Never seen such a mental gymnastics in my life. Nothing is ever Frank's fault. It's the past coach, the past chairman, the weather, lights are too bright, coach didn't have USB C adapters to charge their devices etc

Wild carry on.

Let's be honest, whether you want to take the positives out of tonight, and there were some, or if you are still not happy, that is everyones choice. Personally, I still think we look a fucking mess.

But let's be clear, he has to beat Fulham on Saturday. Whatever positives people want to take out of tonight, it means fuck all unless we get a performance and result on Saturday.

Tonight was always an expected loss. He has to deliver on Saturday in front of the home fans.

He has deliver and it has to be entertaining.

His normal hoof ball and 1 nil win will not do it.
