The 4 he’s signed I think are decent, and an improvement on what we had overall. Let him get rid of the lads he doesn’t want. Most of the lads you’ve mentioned are injured. They could play WITH the new signings if fit.
Something weird is going on with Solanke though for sure. Hopefully we can flog him to a desperate relegation side in jan.
No one is asking for any of that. But seeing actual football and not being afraid of every team we play, not having no chances all game is what we want to see.
Frank is out of his depth, him and Nuno are the worst in living memory, and that's quite the achievement.
Palinha is diabolical. Seems good because he can tackle, but him playing is total detriment to the team. He can do nothing except tackle. When he plays, we can't shift the ball forward, he can't pass, he can't dribble, so the ball stays in our third and teams pick us off with their press.
No coincidence that as soon as he went off today that we were in the ascendency. Obviously our refusal to do anything but cross or play for set pieces meant we created nothing, but as soon as he comes off, it's like a choker collar has been removed.
Bayern obviously figured this out very quickly, and got rid of him very sharpish. No doubt we'll sign him in the summer.
