Match Fulham (H) - 29/11 - 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The most annoying thing about this season for me has been not being able to bask in being champions. I wanted to be able to gloat.

The trophy is and always will be in the cabinet along with the other European trophies we have won.

In many ways it's the most sweet of all because it was won by a very mediocre squad ravaged and debilitated by injury and subsequent disastrous league form.

I really feel sorry for those "fans" who didn't celebrate it - we won't have moments like that for some time.

When you go 2 down within 6 minutes, heads go.

We did have a sustained period of domination including and after the 1st goal though and were very unlucky not to come away with something

Are we really in a position where we should accept being “ very unlucky not to come away with something “ ; a week after the insipid shit-show in the NLD , at home against the team with the poorest away record in the league ( after a one third of the season; they had ONE point away from home before tonight’s game) .

Luck is important in life as well as football but FFS it doesn’t account for the vacuous incompetent shambles that was presented tonight. It really doesn’t.

Calamity Goals happen ; I get it .

But why the 80 odd minutes of non-football that came after .

Explain that .
Digging out a player who is the only reason we're not in a relegation fight is so bizarre. Even if he hadn't have made his mistake, we'd still have been absolutely diabolical. The 60th minute was out first shot on goal after being 2-0 down after what, 10 minutes is fucking unacceptable, and we all knew it was coming. Came into the second half with no intensity either, it's inexcusable.

Really hoping I wake up to the news the nightmare is over. It's getting much worse and this needs addressed.

Don't you think our last say three managers had a plan to create plans to make us better???

I don't know if Frank is the answer, but what manager are gonna get a tune out of this crap squad???

When are we as fans gonna stop demanding manager after manager getting sacked, before we realise our players are shit?

And we must remember, we have missed Madders, Deki, and Solanke really really bad.

And what great managers are gonna want to come here? Levy has dug us into such a deep and black hole, that it will be almost impossible for us to climb out of.

We need to rebuild our recruitment department, get the best available in, and start there.

The only pull we as a club has left is, we are from London, and that Premier League teams pays the best wages in world football.
Last 3 includes Conte who did have a clear plan of how he wants to play, you could see patterns of play and he got us 4th with a terrible squad and left with us 3 points off 3rd with 10 games left. Because ange and Frank aren’t cut out for big premier league club management doesn’t mean the squad is useless and nobody can get a tune out of them. You sack until you get the right man. Nobody can tell me our team is worse than that Fulham team out there today.

We were fortunate not to be 3 down. If it hadn't been for VDV on several occasions we would have been. We did fuck all in the first half, zero threat, not one shot on target, not one cross to a white shirt.
Second half they had a go but too little too bloody late. It was hardly wave upon wave of attacks.
Unlucky??? Not a chance

Makes me long for Ralph Coates . . . . (not really but at least people had heard of him). Apparently nobody at the Lane has any idea how to gather a bunch of unknown foreigners and turn them into Man City.

Tuchel, another boring England manager.

Glasner lost his first 10 or so games, won't last.

Irola, won't last.

Poch won't return.

No manager will do well here, they will never get the time. Tooany of the fans are just a bunch of spoilt twats with zero patience.
The thing with managers is if they have had success somewhere they are likely to be given more time to succeed because fans know they can be successful with the right players being brought in. A manager like Frank who has never been successful in a trophy winning way won't get time because he's never proven to be a winner, 7 years at Brentford for a 9th place finish doesn't fill a fan base with any confidence that even given time that he can turn the squad into a winning squad. Poch won things with PSG, Tuchel won with Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, Glasner won FA cup with Palace and Europa with Frankfurt.

These players dont give a fuck signing for spurs was their highlight, none of em are good enough to play for a better team

I have lost the last bit of hope that I didn't even know I had.

Nevermind football. Get some cows in there. Watching them amble around the pitch would be more entertaining.. and at least we could have some cheese (end product)

Knowing us though we'd get fucking goats instead. Have a cheese room finally, filled with god forsaken goats cheese
:pochcry:
