The same slot thats got pool all over the place right now with better players than us.
That's why I said it was a wildcard.

He won the league with Liverpool and the Eredivisie with Feyenoord. No one knows what's going with Liverpool at the moment and there may be problems that go a lot deeper than the football. It's a very toxic environment and Slot might do better outside that environment.

At the moment, I'm still behind Frank but if things don't improve and Slot becomes available he might be worth a go.

We’re going to get Brendan Rodgers. I just know it.
I've been thinking the same. If we're free falling down the league at some point the board are going to have to make a change, they'll be looking for someone with Premier League experience to steady the ship even as an intern.

If we lose to Newcastle on Tuesday we could be like bottom of mid-table. Except perhaps the bottom five and Manchester City, every team in the league will be predicting their fixture with us as a probable win.

It would be fun on here that's for sure

I'd take it for an experiment.

He deserved a go with a decent squad when he was a bit younger, and got harshly treated by newcastle. I doubt he has the desire/passion these days though, as per that era of managers who would have had a decent run here (e.g. Redknapp part 2) who probably go to Aintree more than Wembley

Close to another manager being chewed up and spat out by Tottenham Hotspur.

Nothing will change until there’s different ownership in place and/or there is a huge overhaul of the recruitment process.

Thinking lightweight Xavi was the answer in this physical league just shows how broken the recruitment is.

We’ve spent oodles on mediocre players and wonder why we’re regularly served up this shite!
I've got this bizarre theory that there's some sort of psychological hex at the club, where players are pretty good when they first arrive but gradually slide down to our level of general shitness. I just can't see how it's possible to spend so much money on so many players and be so awful.

We're on our 18th manager in 25 years, who himself is under pressure and likely to be fired soon. Fans are paying the highest prices in the land to watch the worst football in Europe. Yet there is literally zero ENIC Out chants, or even murmurs of discontent towards the owners.

Instead of directing your anger at a manager yet again, direct it at the cunts who’s put us in this situation from the incompetency of the last 20 years or so. Cheap punts and low wages, no desire for footballing success. Circus club.

I posted as a joke but we’ve tried elite, no worked…..we’ve tried to be entertainers worked kinda until the other team got the ball, we tried the young gun but didn’t see it through we all agree our squad is dogshit we’re years behind Chelsea & Arse and we ain’t competing with them we’re are or have turned into mid table spoilers the Stoke , West Brom or Fulham’s won’t win fuck all but every now will fuck someone over perhaps a Sam Allardyce is maybe what we deserve

By spending so much money on players who are awful, and over paying for shit.
I thought Bentancur and Kulusevski were excellent when they first joined when the team were good in Conte's first season, for some reason they haven't been that good since. Danso seemed pretty good when he first joined but seems to have regressed, Spence was highly regarded but recently been described as not good enough, same with Porro. Palhinha's and Kudus's first two or three matches were impressive but not so much now, apart from Kudus's goal yesterday. Same with Udogie and Sarr.

So it's like they were and can be good but something gets into their heads psychologically that effects their abilities. Perhaps we need to get some sports psychologists doing some serious work with these players.

There's no hex, there's just a board who have (to their credit) created a financial juggernaut but have no idea what to do with it or how to make it compete.

Its massive investment in the team we need.
Top end teams have 50 to 60 million pound players in every position and a few on the bench.
We are a mid table team with mid table players at the moment.
Even Maddison who would be our shining light was in a team that got relegated.
It is what it is.

Like Johnson, Solanke, Richarlison, Kudus, Simons?

Porro, Gray, Romero, Maddison cost upwards of 40 mill

This club has invested massively but invested it badly
