Negative noise, why can’t we support the team. I’ve followed Spurs for 45 years and will never boo them.
Respect. Ive supported the team 35 years. Season ticket holder for 8 of those... I boo'd Dean Austin once but I generally agree... however, the club has been run into the ground in a short space of time and fans have had enough. I never tell any fan how to fan... you want to boo then boo, if you want to sing Frank's name at the top of you voice then be my guest. You pay your money, you take your choice.
Fair enough, I’m just so desperate for them to do well and think the booing is counter productive.
As I said at the time, why neither Porro or Danso dropped back on the goal line to bail the keeper out shows a lack of fight for the team or backing up their team mate, this goal wasn't all on Vic.

I've followed Spurs for 65 years and I like a bit of a Boo, meself. Give it time mate - don't give up hope.

They probably just weren't switched on as it should be common sense for a defender of their level for at least one to defend the goal line.

It should be in your instinct to defend your goal at all costs, you're taught that when you play Junior football - it's beyond bizarre.

What was your opinion about the entire play? How did they get beaten that badly over the top and could the play have been stopped it Viccario hadn't wandered so far out? And I think you make a valid point that once the defenders saw their keeper way out there their first instinct should have been to protect the goal. When they show replays I always look 10 seconds back and usually that tells a tale. Viccario's play at the end looked terrible, but it was way too easy for Fulham to get into the position where he felt it necessary to go out and try to close it down.
They just didn't think the player would shoot, I think they believed a cross would come in so they held the line. You can see VDV go to mark their attacker.
Even so, it's appalling defending.
I called out Vicario for not being good enough ages ago.
Only we could end up signing an utter clown from Italy. Can't stand him. Good shot stopper and that is it. He's fucking woeful for the rest of it.
And I can't stand his personailty. Berating teammates when he fucks up.
He is everything wrong with Spurs nowdays. I sincerely hope we fuck him off and we aren't stuck with him for the next decade.

He is a great shot stopper
But distribution, strength and decision making are poor. And he's prone to gaffs, as we all know.
For me the final straw was actually his not running back to his goal line, having conceded possession while about 3 miles from his area. What a bell. He should go for that. Perhaps we should play Kinsky to torch his WC chances as a punishment.
All that said. I have never booed one of our players and never would.

It was spontaneus frustration.
The faux outrage from the players is galling.
For me anger and booing is better than the apathy I witnessed during the Chelsea game.
I was alone with my rage in the North Lower.
Far too civilised.
