How long should you 'support' incompetence for?
IMHO there’s no excuse for singling out an individual in the same way we did with Sanchez and Emerson. Those situations made me really cringe with embarrassment and empathy for the individual.

I don’t agree with booing the team at full time either, but I can understand it if you’ve paid a fortune to watch that dross.

At least support the team until the final whistle. The opposition and their fans must really love it!

You support them for the ninety minutes because that is literally the point of being there. You don’t clap incompetence, you just back the shirt until the final whistle. Afterwards, debate it, criticise it, call it out all you like. During the game though, dragging your own players down only makes the incompetence worse.

Where was his passion against Chelsea and Woolwich?

Fucking cowards the lot of them.
Passion isn’t a single shape. For some it’s raw running numbers, for others it’s fist pumping or flying into tackles, even when those tackles achieve nothing. Calling them cowards doesn’t suddenly make the team play better. We can win games, but turning every dip in form into a character assassination doesn’t help anyone.

The fact you've had to explain this lmao

I’m not talking about during one match, I mean how many matches should people let it go for? It’s not his first rodeo.

Oof these players hate our fans.

G7AXhQIWMAAKLFI

That's surely going to help the mood with the fans

Good job Pedro

This isn't a dip in form.

Chelsea bullied Spurs in our back yard in front of our own supporters.

To blame the supporters for finally turning on these wasters is a piss take.

No guts, no passion, no pride against Woolwich and Chelsea is unforgivable.

Fucking cowards when it matters but brave after losing at home to fucking Fulham.

Character assasination my arse.

They have done all of this to themselves.

You can agree or disagree with booing our players. I don’t personally care what others choose to do at the game, they have the right to do as they please.

But I can’t stand this whole “not a true supporter” bollocks that’s being thrown around. Both by the club and some here.

Is there a Barometer that measures your fanaticism that I’m unsure of?

Imagine you’re married, you’ve said your vows and commit yourself to them for the rest of your life. You love them.

They break your trust and cheats on you. At this point, are you a lesser partner by asking for a divorce, hating or losing love for them?

Most people have enough worries in life and going to see their team is a highlight, but when you’re served this, can’t you understand it might just be that straw?

I personally think it’s the aftermath of years of neglect in building a real squad of quality. It will take time, but if Frank is the right guy, that is yet to be seen but we can’t keep going on the manager merry-go-round when it’s clear the problem is bigger than that.

What a bizarre analogy

He isn't.

He was a Levy pick.

Cheap.

Inappropriate.

Inadequate and failing.

In every measure.
He could well be. I’m not committed to him but whilst he’s here, all I can do is watch and see what he can or can’t do until he leaves or gets sacked.

What I do know is it’s going to take years to actually get a squad that is of a top 4 team and I don’t trust those running the club to do it.

I’m with Porro on this. You can rate him highly or think he’s limited, but turning on one of your own mid-match for an honest mistake is ridiculous. Keep that sort of reaction for the other lot. Imagine trying to convince a new signing to join by saying, come to Tottenham, where a slip up earns you a chorus of boos.

If his post upsets you, it probably says more about how you view booing than anything else. He phrased it wrong though, sure, because the people doing it are still fans, but they’re not acting like true supporters.
I'd argue they aren't acting like true footballers. In the past 20 odd games they've turned up and watched 3 wins at home. And paid the highest prices in the league for that privilege. I paid £18 to Go banger racing yesterday 5PM-10PM it was great fun and excellent value for money. Tottenham fans are being mugged off and they're supposed to just carry on sitting there taking that shit clapping their hands shouting COME ON YOU SPURS!!!!

If you are cheated on by your partner they have the sole intention of deceiving you and hurting you.

Players don't have the intention of fucking up, they're not making mistakes on purpose.
And they don’t show the intent or passion to try and win a game either.

I’m not saying they’re doing this deliberately, but surely if they’re supposedly unhappy with the performances and the various shit they spout, how do they think we feel?

I don’t have the luxury of going home to my 5 Lamborghinis and 20 bedrooms before deciding which of my 10 toilets I want to take a shit in.

Ugh miss me with the millionaire nonsense, you think that having money and doing a job they're paid to do entitles fans to rip them when they don't play well, allow it.

You're a supporter mate, you literally have one job.

Understand you don't like the football and pay big money to watch turgid shit but booing your own and targetting is just shit

By definition you're not a supporter because you're not doing your basic job as a fan which is support hence the term so Frank is well within his rights to say that.
