All the Glasner talk but he is a sit deep and counter guy which we have right now. Iraola is the closest to the Poch/Belisa style which was very well liked here. Nothing is going to happen mid season, club is unlikely to panic.
Iraola is also on a bad run of form right now, and thats while only playing once a week. He'll almost certainly have rough patches like we do right now if he was here and then people will start talking about another manager from a team they never pay attention to unless they're doing well.

don’t disagree. The club basically have no choice but to back Frank for this season. If he fails I don’t know where we go. Poch is still the best manager we have links to and I don’t think Klopp is coming out of retirement for us. Otherwise it’s left field managers in say Italy who Paratici might be connected with.

It’ll end up like being one of those unsolvable logic problems that have confounded the greatest minds down the centuries;

If a man is offered the chance to manage Spurs ; he’s either a delusional incompetent self-aggrandising yet well-meaning buffoon and he’ll go down in flames who says “ Yes”

OR

he’s a rational realistic , competent and sensible human being who recognises that the task would beyond anyone in their right mind. Who says “ No Thank you “ .

For a hundred points ; Who does the club get to employ ?

( No cheating please ) .

Well yes or should that well, maybe.

Discombobulated might just be the situation before, during and after the answer.

We are one of the biggest clubs in the world in terms of revenue. and a club with a rich history and a long and storied tradition.

It's a sad state of affairs if the only reason we don't fire a non-performing manager is that we don't think a better candidate would agree to come. But, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is where we are. Tottenham Hotspur 2025. Jesus wept.

We can find better than what Frank is delivering.

Whether we do or not and in a time frame that avoids a nail biting end of season who knows.

I can't see Frank being left in post if the defeats keep coming. That's not backing a manager as opposed to being masochistic.

I wouldn't give him another penny to spend. If we aren't making a change this side of Jan then loans with no option to buy only.

I think the vast majority will accept rough patches with this squad as long as we keep trying to play football and we can see signs of progress. At the moment we look like a badly coached League 2 side.

Glasner would definitely leave. He literally was about to walk until they pulled the Guehi deal to liverpool after he passed the medical. He knows he's hit the ceiling at palace. Wharton and Guehi be gone in the summer. Sarr off to African cup of nations. Even rumours that Munoz and Mateta could be sold in January too.

I think he was shocked by how Palace didn't bulk up the squad in the summer with European football. Then he was even more shocked that his chariman tried to sell Eze and Guehi in the final week of the season without replacements ready. Its no secret that he's waiting for a big job and he's gone.

Would he come here? I assume he would tbh. Unless he thinks the Liverpool or United jobs could become vacant and he's been told by his agent that he's in line. I personally don't think united or liverpool would have any interest in Glasner. Similar to Frank, we are his next step. I don't think he gets one of the big clubs!
