And it looks like we could easily finish 17th again , we lost those 4 but added Xavi, Muani, Palhinha and Kudus.
As well as having VDV, romero readily available so far.

Zero excuses for Frank, it's been unacceptable. Results I can handle , the trash performances I can not

I'm sure he'll get to the end of the season which he should probably. But I'm not optimistic of him implementing any kind of cohesive decent football

He will not get the season if we're languishing around 17th come the turn of the year.

He's only going to get the season if we're picking up some results.

The results aren’t as bad as they seem, only 6 points separate us from 3rd, and the whole league is incredibly competitive this season.

That said, getting a result against Newcastle is crucial. If we lose there, it could mark the beginning of the end for Frank, especially if he struggles to string together 2-3 wins in a row after that game.

My target for this season was 65 points and top 8 so there’s still room for trial and error.

Let’s not forget, this same team finished 17th last year. I don’t understand why we're acting like they've suddenly got some sort of actual standards to live up to, lol.

Because the squad this season and last season is a lot better than 17th.

We're underperforming for far too long and there's a number of reasons why.

But the buck always stops with the manager.

Muani has barely been available & it’s pretty obvious Simon’s needs a shitload of adaption period before he’s any use here.

Palhinha & Kudus are good additions but frankly I find the former to be horrendously overrated by our fans (so limited) and the latter is good but just not enough.

The window was another big load of meh. Frank should be doing better but we’re in and around a lot of teams who have just as good or better squads, to be honest. Newcastle and United both within a few points.

I’d take half the Palace starting eleven here too.

I think it's premature because we're on the same points as Newcastle and only 3 points behind Liverpool. Also only 3 points behind Man U, which many would say are actually having a pretty good season.

If he's sacked, it would be more about how boring his football is. But everyone knew what Brentford played like.

We can afford giving him a chance to fix things. But if we start getting closer to relegation, we should act swiftly.

That we're a top 5 team is really not true though. Not with those players.
Forget about the league table , my eyes are telling me he is shit

Frank's Brentford team was as good as the current squad he's managing. As evidenced by the fact they finished 18 points ahead of us.

Wissa, Mbeumo, Norgaard, Damsgaard, Kayode, and Schade would all start for us.

My biggest thing about yesterday is there is no urgency to do anything. I see Thomas trying to get them to get up and press and there’s no reaction from the players. They take an eternity to do everything. Whether it’s goal kicks, free kicks, corners, throw ins and generally everything we just have no intensity or urgency.

And football players nowadays are soft stupid cunts who can’t take a hit. 99% of the time a player stays down doesn’t need to. It just wastes time and kills the game. It’s the same every game whether they are winning, drawing or losing.
Can add in how long it takes to get subs on. I am sure the 3 players on Saturday were all standing up kitted ready to come on 5 mins before we scored. It took so long going through the stupid clipboards and shit. He then bought them on a couple of mins laters after scoring. Hence why it looked a strange decision. If he had got them on before we scored it would have been ok.

That says more about Spurs than it does about Thomas Frank.
Yea, which is why I don't blame the coach. Recruitment has been a huge issue.

If you look at teams like Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, they have a lot of players that'd start for us or be v close

Villa: Martinez, Tielemans, Onana, Kamara, McGinn, Watkins, Konsa.

All solid players. We could easily take 5/6 of those guys and make them starters if not first off the bench

Palace isn’t much different either.

Guehi, Mitchell, Muñoz, Sarr, Wharton, Mateta

When I tell people these teams are now just as good as us, they think I’m joking until they look at the lineups. 17th place wasn't a fluke.

I genuinely now believe Frank has been appointed not to get Top 6, but to keep us away from the bottom 3. There is no other realistic conclusion we can make.

Nowhere near enough transfer business was done in the summer to suggest there was a belief to push on and up.

Frank is not a dummy. He must look at the shower of shit and ask himself, what good looks like. That would be 10th and pretty much staying up is his job done.

No top 6 team appoints a manger from Brentford who has never won anything. But many clubs targeting survival would love to appoint Frank.

Palhinha is well overrated. We tend to overrate players after each performance so its not a surprise.
Other managers are in their 2nd to 3rd year now, Amorim, his first year was more atrocious than Ange.

We always have to give a manager 1 full season at the least, unless we are fighting relegation. I think he will do wonders in his second year.

Yeah - I've always been of the opinion that, even if we're a bit shit, we should stick with Frank for the season as there don't seem to be any great, available options on the market and we need to bring in the right manager rather than another short-term fix or a firefighter.

However, all of that goes out the window if we're relegation form levels of shit, he loses the dressing room and we're in a death spiral. He might be able to ride it out if we double down on him like United did with Amorim but if it becomes properly toxic and we keep losing games with zero signs of improvement then we might have no choice.

Agree.

And that point is closer than some might like to think.

I mean, If we lose to Newcastle, Brentford and Forrest...then what?

Liverpool home and Palace away after.

When do they say enough is enough because I don't see us picking up many points there.

I hope we do but I'm just not optimistic and think some of the players have their minds made up already
