Player Mohammed Kudus

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

As I keep saying I think fans are mostly taken by the odd moment of whatever, or simply getvexcited for reasons they must be creating in their own minds.

The signing of Kudus never excited me that's fir sure but he is our player.

But Kudus is better than average but not a patch on many of our previous best.

Beat a player, see a pass or put into an area of danger.

A talented player but doesn’t move the needle. If we ever get back to the top level we’ll be frustrated and looking to move him on.

He’s one of a few mid table-lower league level players we’ve become obsessed with signing in recent windows:
- 2022: Richarlison
- 2023: Johnson
- 2024: Solanke
- 2025: Kudus

Big money spent on all yet If we ever get back to being a consistent top 6 team we’ll be looking to move every single one of these players out. None of them have a high ceiling and none of them were elevating their respective clubs like Kane was for us or Mane at Southampton as they stayed around the same level even after they left.

Kudus has the most assists in the league this season..he's number ONE IN THE WHOLE LEAGUE.

Kudus is joint 4th in goals/assist this season with only Haaland, Thiago and Semenyo bettering him (Richarlsion has the same number as him as well btw).

Yet the bozo fanbase still call him "woeful" and slag him off. So fucking thick as pig shit to realise we would be in a relegation fight without him. Our fanbase is the absolute worst and i 100 percent understand why we are universally slagged off so much.

5 assists to date in 13 games, in a dysfunctional team that has a forward line shooting blanks for the most part.

He's currently the most creative player we have, and if we can see that then so can the opposition. Double up on him to negate him and you essentially kill off our attacking threat.

As for seeing a pass, first the pass has to be on and that is reliant on good movement from those in front of him. Are we getting that?

You don't need to answer by the way, that was rhetorical.

Kudus is better than we're seeing, but he needs better movement around him, or at least another creative outlet that will make the opposition think. Even then, if we don't have the right movement up front, all we'd have is both creative players being questioned.

That's a strong come back.

Let's see.

Dude is literally tied with Bruno Fernandes for most assists in the Premier League, and he did that while playing with arguably the most impotent forwards the Premier League has to offer.

On the priority list of things that need to improve on Spurs you can find "Kudus has to play better" at #814

Agree but he was a little off yesterday at times and hasn’t quite been at the same level since the injury layoff.

I dont think these people watch the same sport as me. I'll also add they seem very easily lead to a conclusion about certain players. So there was a narrative West ham fans say we have "over paid". Then he starts really well and they say 'well I've been quietly supprised ' then after being absolutely flogged and being doubled marked by every team thats work out hes 90% of our teeth they started saying "Always thought he was over rated. Its just all of them are shit" Its like with certain players they can not wait for them to fail...why? 🤔

He's our best attacker this season by a mile get another elite wide player in thd team he will get even better as the oposition won't have the luxury of throwing so many bodies at him. Mo Kudus is the DAMN player we should have had in support of Son and Kane not all the bloody N'jie and N'kudu. We HAVE to add an Nidaye or Semenyo no half measures. Who are all these wide forwards in the Epl out performing him? Wirtz, Savinho, Bowen....WHERE ARE THEY?

When Kane and Son were breaking scoring records their threads would be full of people complaining asking for them to be sold (I still remember Sammy's bizarre 'Kane has a low shot percentage' line). Weirdos. Kudus has been our best attacker this season. The issue is LW, CAM and CF.

Kudus is decent. A good squad player. At times he can be very good but also at times very frustrating. I dont think its just him being marked out of the games, but his lack of overall vision. I dont see Kulusevski having any problem getting that RW starting spot when he is back.
