Frankie Day has been Spurs best striker in this age group although Phoenix Offiah, recruited last year is doing vey well atm.

Spurs u15 and E u15 striker Ashiah Haughton-Sinclair seems to be breaking all sort of records - some sources believe he's already scored more than 40 goals for Spurs u15, Spurs u16 and E u15 already this season - and that might help explain why Day wants to leave and why Spurs are relatively relaxed.

Back to u18 match - Spurs still losing 3-0, although Muslika has made a few shots.

72 mins 2 subs
Salter for Moncur
Sandiford for Upson.

This maybe about giving some players a rest before U19 Youth League match on Tuesday

Tuesday 9 December @ 13.00 Spurs u19 v Slavia Prague u19 (UEFA Youth League)

Last u19 squad
Archer, Adewole, Byrne, Hardy, Rowswell (c), Tye Hall (Feeney 67), Elliott-Parris (Upson 46), Black (Glancy 89), O Irow (Muslika 76), Williams-Barnett, T Thompson.
Substitutes (not used): D Thompson, B Irow, Tingey, Boast.

One or two others who might get into the squad such as u16 Oscar Sandiford but many were rested at weekend, so there may not be too many changes to he squad.

This is the last of the UEFA Youth League matches in the League phase with Spurs already qualified for knock out stages (a round of 32 clubs) and currently sit on 9 points in 12th place. However there is an advantage in finishing as high up the table as possible which may mean an easier draw in first knock out match.

Oliver Dawes (CB/RB) is the 8th Spurs u16 thought to have been offered a scholarship starting on 1 July 2026, following GK Max Sievey, RB/RCB Oscar Sandiford, CB Solomon Olajide, CM Harry Hughes, CM/AM Toju Wellspring, Blake Bidace-Philogene winger/FB, and striker Phoenix Offiah.

Next Years Academy Year 1 coming together nicely - we think we know 2/3rd's of the expected dozen or so players now.

Beckles the 9th Spurs u16 to be offered a 2 year Scholarship starting 1 July 2026 in Spurs u18's. The new intake is starting to take shape and currently looks like :

GK - Max Sievey,
Def. - RB/RCB Oscar Sandiford, RB/CB Oliver Dawes, CB Solomon Olajide,
Mid - CM Harry Hughes, CM/AM Toju Wellspring,
Fwds - Blake Bidace-Philogene winger/FB, fwd Zion Beckles, striker Phoenix Offiah.

Strong squad as might be expected - academy players in years 1 and 2 not making squad are Bangura, Beggs, Myrtaj, Moncur, B Irow (GK), Doran (GK no mins this season), Agyekum, Hanson (injured all season), Thomas, Salter, Glancy.

A couple of these might think themselves unlucky not to make the u19 squad today.
