Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Thought he was great again today. Led from the front. His yellow was prime Romero
He's an interesting character because often when he gets a yellow (particularly an early one) he tends to step it up and play out of his skin.

He seems to love to play with the figurative knife at his throat. Which is a bit risky obviously but when it works quite enjoyable.

Just a real shame we don’t have a CM that can receive these passes and find a quick one touch pass around the corner to release a forward. Wharton would thrive on these bullets
Wharton will be at Palace with Glasner until he either ends up at a mega club, or Glasner leaves. I don't see how we come anywhere close. We haven't even signed any players from Palace in years. Sure Romero would benefit him and us, but it's merely a pipe dream...

Just saw on red watch Boothroyd and Dermot both said straight red . Having seen it again , what the hell was he thinking , so unnecessary .
Haven't watched the show all that much, but I swear every time I do it's of them highlighting a red would should have received or justifying a decision that didn't go our way. It's like getting sent a video of someone on tinder explaining why they swiped the other way. Nauseating

Personally I think that had the ref given a red, VAR wouldn’t have overturned it. It certainly ticked a lot of the red boxes and he could have had no complaints.

What I wil say about ref watch is that you seldom see that agreeing that any contentious decision given against us was wrong. Like barely ever if at all.

We have our bias here, of course, but there’s been some crazy things where Dermot goes no, wasn’t a pen, yes that should have been a red etc etc.

What did they say about the Newcastle pen that shouldn't have been a pen?
