But in fairness; Levy was great at selling high but wasn’t so equally adept at knowing when to “ dump stock “‘.

He just seemed to hang on to stuff for too long ; and then it became worthless.

FWIW : I’m terrible with money; so I wouldn’t take anything I say too seriously.

I think that was the fan mentality too, though. We were a "selling club" for selling Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, Bale etc, and then when we could afford to keep our best players, that was also the wrong thing to do.

Fans deal their criticism with hindsight, which is just absurd. If we were Liverpool right now, this forum would be absolutely heaving with "Levy gave Salah a contract when he was washed" "didn't back the manager" and all sorts, despite the same people who'd post that were gushing over their business a few months back.

No club is perfect, but is simply viewed differently to others

Ferguson was a cunt in the pursuit of winning and probably still is. I suspect lots will come out. He must have known about Giggs’s carrying on and turned a blind eye to it. How anyone with scruples could be managing that bloke with what he was getting up to is beyond me.

To answer your question.

Like you said in your first sentence
“ he was a cunt in pursuit of winning”

Useful character traits if you want to become a successful football manager I would have thought.

Unfortunately, that’s the world today.

Levy sold Carrick, Berbatov, Keane and Defoe to direct rivals in the Premier League.

He turned Spurs into a selling club.

Some 'supporters' were actually grateful to him when he started selling our best players, like Modric, Bale and Kane abroad.

The teams Levy sold to were in it to win trophies.

Levy became one of the 250 richest people in Britain while turning THFC into a selling club.

I hope the Lewis family rinse him out in the same way he rinsed the very best THFC supporters who will never give him credit for anything.

They’d probably be as well selling up then & not talk about wanting success 👍
I expect they will. I don't think shady's too far off in the thinking that they'll try and push Levy out of his shares before that. Everything that's happened so far reeks of a personal issue between then to a point of vendetta IMO.

How that's working out with Josh at Tavistock (Ultimate Finance etc.) god knows

I think it's fair to say we narrowly avoided relegation in Levy’s final season.
We were just one position above the drop. If just one more team had been better than us we'd be in the Championship right now.
Sure the club was one place above relegation but would have to have lost 5 more games or lost4 and drawn 2 to lose the 13 point advantage, and the team below us would have to have at least won 4 more and drawn one. That's why I don't class it as narrowly avoiding relegation. bearing in mind the team below us were Leicester who only won 6 games all season.

In other seasons as I said, 38 points may have been very close to relegation, if not in it. Our club was lucky the bottom three were as bad as they were last season.

Levy became one of the 250 richest people in Britain while turning THFC into a selling club.

But also he turned Spurs into a club that doesn't sell.

So he became "one of the 250 richest people in Britain" whilst turning THFC into a selling club that doesn't sell players.

Are they going to stitch Levy up?

Do you regard this as an injustice?

If so will you be protesting?
