na i agree completely, if you wanna actually pass the ball about, then hes a huge drag on that, which is what football is meant to be about?
problem is, we need a huge clear out if we wanna do that anyway lol. if kudus is going to be direct and aggressive when he has the ball then hes going to be seen as useful to us for a while, he should be giving the LB a workout. fullbacks dont wanna be attacked every time the winger has the ball and have their legs put through it.

He scored 10 EPL goals in his last 4 seasons combined despite playing in more than 30 games a year in 3 of them. Another infuriating player who didn’t get his head up enough and his contributions diminished after 1 decent season.

Don’t rate this bloke at all, awful player but that’s on Frank and the coaching team. He wasn’t making those decisions early in the season, he would have charged forward and into a blind alley. Pure negative cowardice and endemic of Frank
Kudus was excellent in his first season at West Ham. Regressed last year as much because he was played out of his preferred position — but poor compared to his first season.
Frankly, Bowen was the only Spammer that I would have been interested to sign.

You do have to wonder if jadedness, and perhaps fatigue, is setting in. The squad has so many holes and imbalances all over the place, a real dog’s dinner when it comes to playing talent management.

If I’m an oppo manager I’m just basing my tactics around shutting him out the game ,it’s that easy to stop us which is why I kind of feel for him a bit , teams have nothing else to think about except for stop Kudus
