Transfers The Winter Transfer Thread - 25/26

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sorry, shit Christmas. Just happy we seem to be addressing problem areas.

More to the point, how many of us really see foreign players regularly before we buy them?

No need for that comment, IMO.

Mate, if you want to appear like a pro; you're meant to pretend to have watched them loads.... (Even if the player has yet to complete a senior fixture).

I read an article about Tel when he first joined on loan. He was often brought on as a substitute when Bayern had already won and the opposition were done. Also the level of teammates he had at Bayern vs opposition were massive. In short he was surrounded by a quality and dominant footballing machine.
I made the observation when we were linked to him that he was adding a 3rd or 4th goal in the last 10 minutes of games for Bayer.
Thing is, why aren't we using him to do that? He could have killed the game Vs Palace as they were dead on their feet.
Heck, we even had the ascendancy against Liverpool as they were on the back foot.
We can't justify having £35m getting literally no minutes at all, IMO.

Thats some squad 🤣

You're a proper little slimeball aren't you. Forever taking cheap shots from the sidelines.

How would you know how I celebrated the Europa League win you fucking slug.

Why should I be compelled to explain my absence on an anonymous football forum for around 12 days (either side, btw) of that wonderful night in the Basque Country.

You have absolutely no idea what personal events disrupted my life last May and you never, ever fucking will.

Here's an idea. Instead of taking every opportunity to open your vile mouth on the issue, think ....what was our closest night to the glory of Bilbao? Without doubt, it was the beautiful miracle of Amsterdam.

I dare you to dig out that thread from that glorious night and it's aftermath and read through my posts.

I was one the most maniacal, proliferous, joyous posters on this forum and it's all there for you to see.

I've let your constant sniping (and others) slide for the last 8 months due to the events that preceded. Not anymore. Not now it's 2026 and you're still setting the bait.

So get back in your box and stfu once and for all

Oh. .Happy New year

Watching Palace Fulham still don’t see the deal with Wharton. He’s nowhere near the money people are talking about. Strolling around with his socks down, the game passes him by a lot of the time and he can get caught on the ball too. Don’t think he’s got the quick feet or change of pace to get himself out of trouble consistently and off the ball he doesn’t get out of a languid jog. The odd great pass and being left footed really clouding everything else.unpopular opinion no doubt but I really think he’d be a mistake
You're not alone. For the money touted, I'd rather go for Anderson, I think his all round game is the better of the two.
